Since reaching 128 players seems unlikely, I think we'll cap it at 100.

This is how we'll do it.

100 players = 12 groups of 8.

For the first round only, the top 5 in each group will move on, plus the four players from all groups with the most points (standard tie-breakers apply).

That will give us 64 players and the tournament will revert to the standard top four per group move on.
