Molacole went out of his way to help me improve my game! He was able to instill a renewed sense of confidence that helped me not only win my first game, but also to start to enjoy the finer points of strategy rather than my previous "hell bent for leather" blame the dice not my skill approach!
"Hats off" to not only a great player but a guy who is willing to share.
I have signed up here before as a mentoree and got some good advice but if anybody thinks they can help me progress some more your help would be greatly appreciated.
Warning : I am not a great student so you may have your work cut out for you
Don't now why people on here don't like being cooks, remember under siege: A former SEAL, now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship.
I'll also like to sign up as a mentoree, (3). I haven't played any Risk before finding this site but I think I have a hang of the controls, and have even won one(1) game. I guess you can PM if you are interested.
I ahve played more then 400 games, specially good at singles.
Volunteering to be a mentor, if interested just PM me.

I've played the board game many times. My strategy seems stale and near sighted. Would love a mentor to point out different strategies and ways to read the board better.
You guys, don't be shy about PMing each other. If any of the mentorees haven't found someone with a week or so of posting here, and PMing a person or two as potential mentors, let me know and I'll help.
I can teach the basics of any game on here save one 5 and 6 player escalating.... all I can show you on that is how to get really close and then mess it up
I'm Spanking Monkey now....err...I mean I'm a Spanking Monkey now...that shoots milk Too much. I know.

my mentor is gone on the missing list, if anyone sees Kid_A let him know I'm the little boy sitting in the classroom alone for the last week watching the door to see if teacher will turn up and every day is the same he never does

I need help, and lots of it - I'm playing loads of games on tons of maps - early successes with cairns coral coast and the battle for Australia, but overall struggling. I've limited myself to sequential with cards (flat or escalating). Am having loads of fun playing all the different maps, but would rally appreciate some coaching on basic strategy.
