Apparently you have not been to Flame Wars and/or have an unhealthy hatred of Flame Wars posters. As I've stated before (and which has not really been addressed) - If you didn't like Flame Wars, why did you go there? Why did you not ignore the discussion topic? I do quite well ignoring the Map Foundry.

I enjoyed Flame Wars. It was a place where no judgments were passed. We could all be stupid, and happy, and funny. I think it was a terrible choice to take it away.

sorry, I was only semi-serious..and almost posted a disclaimer saying as much with my post, but just hoped it would be perceived correctly and as the joke that it was intended...and certainly not as any kind of insult to you...

your post was hardly a harsh flame by any true standards, however...you could say it was one if you wanted to on a loose definition, which would be mildly amusing.....you could even suggest mine was me flaming you for flaming flamers in a thread about then end of flame wars....It would be exxagerated of course, as was mine...

However...you did call them "animals", "unfortunate", "crying babies", "mention disrespect", "immature", "poorly written", "foul nonsense"..and that they deserved "no respect"......you said they were "whining"..."loud and unintelligent"... I dont think calling that a flame is completely out of line, or baseless, especially as a joke, was it? Certainly there were "flames" with less flaming in them in flame wars....
