Yeah, there is something about the names and the background on the map and not so much the legend itself. It comes off kind of dull to the eyes and makes the names hard to read. Is there any way to add some texture to the map bonus colors(I hope this is making sense). It just needs some variety. Other than the flatness it looks excellent.

hm, you use Hungarian names, Croatian names, but why not German for Austria and maybe Bohemia?

some of the german names for bohemia are a bit cumbersome, though i never liked the directional english ones either. instead of südböhmen, mittelböhmen and nordböhmen, why not use the more colourful budweis, prag and sudetes?

in austria, the name label for wien is missing. only the crest of the austrian throne is visible.

About Wien, there's no territory Wien on the map. Wien is just Nieder-osterrich, I used the bundesland instead of the city, but I'm open to change it to Wien if you think it's better.

It's funny, I'm working on that part of the map right now
I never liked the symbols covered by the army circles.

I changed the names in Bohemia with the ones you suggested, except for sudetes since I don't like so much the idea to use a mountain range name. I decided to use Preßburg, i think it could work.

The thrones were changed to increase visibility of symbols. Do you like them?

Thanks for the updates. One more suggestion: Could you use another colour for Bosnia & Herzegovina? As it is next to the sea, I think blue is not the best choice. How about e.g. something orangish?

I don't think orange would fit the colour scheme of the map. It's a totally different shade of blue than the sea so it shouldn't be a problem anyway.

I'm happy with the current color, I don't see an improvement in adding a new color and I don't understand how the sea could create a problem....
I really like the map as it is now, so I'm sorry but without a colorblind issue I won't change the colors.
Moreover orange could fit the map, but next to a green is a just more problems than everything else

A small thing: I think the "minimaps" that are in the legend next to the bonus values should be switched. I think it would be more intuitive if the light area represents the "highlighted" countries, instead of the other way around as it is now.

To me, it seems that Bosnia-Herzegovina are like water territories now. All the rest zones are having colours that are brownish (earh) or greenish (forests), just this one is odd in my opinion. That's why I suggested a change. By the way, I was thinking about a pale brownish-orangish colour, or whatever would suit (except blue).

What about nieder - osterreich / wien ? Which one do you think is the best? I'm for change it to wien, but in that case ober-osterreich will look a bit odd, maybe I can change that too and use Linz instead...

Um, why not name the Austrian Throne territory Wien and keep the osterreiches as they are?

I didn't realize that Wien is actually the same territory as Austrian throne. The river kinda threw me off there... so yes, the one with Wien/Linz works.
