So Dazza was roleblocking (jak I would guess) and a vig/SK caught him.
But another casualty did take place. While in the fight, one of my other men took down a lower ranking. His Dog tags read Brig. A.E. Percival. /, Vanilla Townie, Brig. A.E. Percival has been shot down during the battle.
I suppose this was the regular mafia night kill?

Pish posh NG1, we'll have a proper funeral for / now.

On this day we commemorate the passing of our beloved hero, Brig. A.E. Percival, AKA /, may he rest in peace in Heaven.
*moment of silence*

Now back to the war.

Meh, he was a VT so he got no information, I think he should be allowed. There isn't a single thing that really would change his knowledge of which team he is on. He wasn't mafia, therefore if he's town again he can't rat them out.

I don't mind if the jealous Nazis who obviously killed me for my awesomeness don't mind. :D
Otherwise it wouldn't be fair making them waste another kill like that.

I don't mind having / as a replacement. Do we have someone that needs to be replaced at the moment or are you just stockpiling replacements for when they are needed?

I wouldn't mind having Vuntersloush be a replacement.

Unknown assailant? Hint of an SK? I wouldn't think that a vig would strike on night 1.

I didn't have much of a read on dazza either way. It is unfortunate we lost /. Hopefully he comes back as town again. / makes definite sense as a mafia kill though, due to his experience and the way he re-centred the town and provide a much needed counter-argument. It is difficult to say whether he was right about any of his guesses though.

If there were, it's probably more along the lines of a Mafia Usurper. Doesn't seem likely for a third party player.

Also, I'm curious jak, why are you not going to tell us who you protected? You're outed anyways, and if mafia kill you later on, your night action information might be important towards endgame? I see no downside to you telling us who you protected or tried to protect at this point.

Well, jak doesn't know if the one he protected was a goodie or a baddie.

Anyway, as I read the scene, given it's a bullet rather than a knife, I would say that it's a job done by the vig. I know most people would like the vig to have his gun holstered the first night, but dazza did seem a bit scummy since he didn't participate that much and just went along with what the others said without adding anything ... Mainly, though, it's the bullet that screams vig not sk to me.

I agree mostly about the vig/SK argument, but I don't know how much we should read into it.

Also, what does it matter if jak protected someone good or bad? I don't really see what him telling us who he protected will do for town.

Was there heat on Dazza at any point? Perhaps we can learn something from those not supporting him? Or the line of attack he was playing? (From attacking Ragian I think?)

@leehar, I was after dazza for his inactivity. Others were on his case, saying that his posts didn't contribute anything.

The only people that Dazza even hinted at outside of the vote phase was voting for Milkshake (Gimli now) and stating that safari would have come up with a better fake claim if he was scum. Majority of the rest is just stating cant catch up as far as I could tell so not much to go on from them

I don't remember there being any heat on dazza. I doubt the vig would've shot last night unless he was a n00b who didn't know not to shoot N1, was overeager vig, or was a veteran who had a pretty good idea that dazza was mafia. Either that or we have a busdriver, but the scene doesn't say much about a busdriver. If it's the vig, I'm guessing he's new to his role. I think it points to more of an SK (this is WWII, what could an SK do with a knife in a gun fight?), and with a game this size it wouldn't surprise me. It's possible it was the vig, but I'm guessing SK. Is S7C here? I think it's him.
