Guys, we have to handle all threats to spamalot like the mature ppl we are ( :wink:

I think it's just about doing it in as quick and vicious a fashion as possible. The Flame Wars peeps get angsty if they think threads are turning into drawn-out last-word contests; but if everyone just types the most hate-filled paragraph they can, then doesn't come back*, I think our stock would skyrocket.

lets take this to the extreme

for example, if NO ONE hated us, and everyone loved us, then wouldn't that be boring?

The spamalot vs. (all those opposed to spamalot) struggle is what makes this board fun.

As a supposedly rational adult in a position of mild authority I'm sure you'll appreciate the fact in the absence of regular and clear official statements, we are forced to judge your actions as they appear. So far as any of us can see, these 'rules' aren't being enforced equally, and are in fact being used to target Spamalot members. Furthermore they appear only to be being zealously enforced by yourself, who was recently officially (tacitly) declared to have acted in a manner unfairly biased against Spamalot.

Basically, we call them like we see them AK. Either start talking honestly to the forum in general, or don't be suprised when it asks searching questions of you. You're far from perfect, and a bit of active scrutiny of your 'moderating' is something that's clearly in CC's interest; as the recent deletion incident proved.

You have fun searching out those infractions though. Did you ever delete that duplicate thread posted by a non-Spamaloter which I sent you a PM about? No? How odd, must have slipped your mind eh?
