Okay, so Lee and Duk are currently battling and iAc has dibs. As soon as the present battle concludes iAc can then set up his games with the winner and as soon as he posts said games, I can then call dibs. I think I've got it now. And thank you all for your patience with those of us who who have difficulty getting up the strength to actually read the rules. =D> =D> =D> =D>

Question: Is the tourny now basically over? I cannot find the list showing who is now available for challenges any longer.

If it is, thanks for an enjoyable tournament.

General,

The Ladder is on-going...there is no end. I'm posting the link below, just in case...

Things are getting pretty stagnant. How about a ladder reset and random fill?

I was thinking the same thing about the Ladder being stagnant...but here is what I thought:

1. All inactives will be given 7 days to make a challenge or be removed (I'll send out a general PM)

2. Update the SoC Ladder invitation on the SoC Student and Grad forum.

3. With the exception of the Top 5 (they've been challenging eash other), reset and randomize from #6 to the bottom.

I'd like to make this into a poll, but I don't know how to on here. If someone can send me instructions, I'll get it done.

Thanks!

Walled ETheG with my [game]14723295[/game] in our battle. Hope this doesn't mess up my dibs.

Hurry up and post your games, iAc! 8-[

You're probably right, Chuck. It's probably my fault. And I don't mind a reshuffling of the ladder but I'd suggest this approach. See what we all think and what we can all come up with but I like the idea of having everyone who doesn't respond wanting to keep their position within a certain length of time, say 2 weeks or whatever, to be dropped and randomly seeded by random.com.

Everyone who states that they want to stay can and even get to move up to replace those above them. Course I'd also be happy for a complete shakeup as soon as I'm able to play dibs once. It would be nice to stay long enough to make it to #1 but some of us may not live that long so I'd be happy to fight my way back from the bottom for another shot at the title... after I take my dibs shot, that is.

And I'd be fine with your idea, too.

Lee won the first two games. The third one is in doubt. He will retain the title, but I was waiting for the third game to end before posting congratulations.

Curious ... what happens if a player calls Dibs ... then when the time comes to start his battle for the top spot the person is no longer one of the top 4 players on the ladder? If the person who called DIBS falls out of position before (within 3) the current competition if final does DIBS get cancelled?
