Totally unreal, sitting here with friends and just staring at each other... Brazil is now almost at par with Saudi Arabia 8:0 in 2002 WC

Oh, oh, oh... The whole world has watched this with astonishment. It was one of the most ridiculous games I've ever watched, especially after the mellow quarter finals.

I am so looking forward to Holland - Argentina. Let's see if Messi or Robben can stop the Germans.

I came. This felt so good I don't think any of you understand, I was rooting for them to be humiliated and they were, to an extent that even in my wettest dream would seem impossible. Germany, I love you!!

Holy shit!! Poor brasilian players, they must be destroyed.
Riots are starting around the stadium.

I hope netherlands makes it. Netherlands-germany would be a hell of a final, and brasil argentina for the third place would be the first third place match interesting ever!

It's not gonna be that interesting, Brazil will not recover from this in a couple of days and will lose to whatever team they meet. I want to see an all european finals but I predict that Argentina is a level better than Holland and will advance to the finals. The finals will be fun however, but the bronze game will not consist of two motivated teams. Brazil is humiliated and broken, and it deserves to be.

Well deserved loss for the Brazilians... They were backed by the judges in every previous game, the punishment was brutal.

And yet you watched anyway. So... soccer wins!
Also, you must have missed yesterday's game. Unless you consider 4 goals in 6 minutes "boring".

Bollocks.
Holland gets kicked to the curb
One hundred twenty minutes of almost goals?
Lotsa drama compared to yesterday.

The offside call on Argentina's almost goal was muy close
and the Holland Keeper's save on the point blank header?
Oh shit!

Is no one watching Argentina against The Netherlands?

We just fucked it up by putting Vlaar on the first penalty kick. That is not his job! Robben put it in, because it is his job! Van Gaal has made his first mistakes this WC with his substitutes. Too bad his mistake took away two potential parties in the next week,

You can't imagine the disappointment going through Holland right now, because we were able to send Messi home, but we let chance pass us. I'm sure Germany will win the World Cup. Congratulations in advance, neighbours...

I'm not. Argentina is much better defensively than Brazil.
Then again, so is pretty much anyone.

In other news, I win our World Cup pool by about a mile.
What's my prize? :D

Hardly my a mile, if I let my head control my heart for once I would have came close... congrats though, nice job getting the 4 semi finalists. Lets hope we'll both be right with the winner and I'll pick up my works sweepstake.

Robben and Messi both had good games, but I felt Argentina looked like the best side for most of the match, with their challenging defense and attack. But the play matched the score. It was tight for 90 minutes and after Argentina failed to win it in regulation I thought Holland was going to take in extra time.

Tough loss by a good team to another good team,
it should be an excellent final.
