Eddie,

Come on mate, let's try and make the peace here and have you happy and keen - the way we've all come to know and love you. Personally I have no beef with you - I simply got miffed coz of the way you requested game numbers (something that was never standard procedure when posting games in this thread) and when I did so you immediately messed up the reserved slots on top of making a post (since deleted) that I know you probably regret having made.

So...that's all in the past. I'd like to see your clan stay in this league, get to know folks through playing games in a clan environment, and earn the right to be in it next time. If you throw a wobbly now and withdraw you're hurting no-one but yourself and your clanmates coz the TIME name will be tainted. So let's have a puff on the peace pipe and get our Week 5 games underway so that all parties are happy and we don't screw around with poor JPC who has to administer all this.

As it stands right now, all TOFU home games had been filled by us but have since had withdrawals due to your clan's threat of quitting the league (I mean, why bother playing them if they're redundant?). But if we receive your assurance that TIME will uphold its commitment to see out the Div.A games then I'll be only too happy to have the TOFU guys re-enter the games - sound good?

As for the Monday deadline for posting games - you were very quick to jump to conclusions. I asked for a mere two day extension (from Saturday 6th to Monday 8th) which is pretty good considering how far back we had been for Week 3 (games which are still in progress). I attended my niece's wedding in Hawaii on Sunday and posted the games on here from the hotel business centre on Monday, which I thought was pretty bloody decent. I'm not sure where you get Tuesday from, but there ya go.

Anyway....bury whatever hatchet (or hod) you're carrying and let's get on with the business at hand, which on CC is to play a series of friendly, competitive games. Cheers

Please join the games as normal TOFU as they will be filled one way or the other with an opponent. Several clans asked to join the league late and one asked specifically to be a backup.

TOFU rejoining, but I hope these games aren't all in vain.

I've heard from Eddie and now I appreciate that the guy has issues with access to a PC, so of course it's a pain in the ass for him if deadlines aren't met and he can't do what he needs to in the brief time he has. Hopefully this won't be a problem as to date JPC has been very tolerant and flexible re game submission and set-up and I'm sure that same flexibility will be afforded to TIME and Eddie's window of opportunity. On this understanding I hope TIME can stay in the league and that all of their games will count towards the total.

I love pms that make me smile. The clan asking to be a reserve was NOT THOTA, although that would certainly make this very interesting. I think Eddie will be ok going forward as he continues to fill my inbox. I would recommend that TIME's opponents do their best to get games to him by end of Saturday so that he can manage he his as best as he would like.

As a general rule, I'm not a fan of forfeits. With some of the medal discussions, I will be having a conversation with the CLA about forfeits/penalties etc. to see if we can come to some general guidelines, and options and procedures around such events.

I suffer from dwarfism and it's a struggle to type on the tiny screen of my ringmaster's borrowed Blackberry as I ride my horse around the circus ring. So you're not the only one struggling.

The amusing part is that we are no longer "ordering" games...so the Subject should probably read "Division A - Schedule, Game Postings, and Flame Thread" :D

Or simply the apt "Flaming Orders"

(although some wag is bound to post 'crepes suzette' or Baked Alaska)

so if I may get back to business for a brief moment....

We all have 2 more rounds of games to prepare for, 2 of us (ID and ++The Legion++) are supposed to be playing against TIME or someone else.

When are we going to find out who we are playing?

If eddie still can't tell us then please cut his clan loose and let someone else take their place.

BTW, am I the only one who pictures Eddie as Morris Day?
