Several groups are finding benefit from pretending this is a real threat. If you want to look to the REAL threat, its all those groups spreading lies. They are making people so paranoid that its not going to matter what kind of president Obama is, how much good he does OR how idiotic his opposition is ( Palin anyone?), he may be defeated.
THAT is what this garbage is about. Not guns, but political gain for OTHER agendas. And you can bet it is not an agenda favorable to either you or I!
So you think Obama is an honest man? You think that any of the democrats of the High Liberal church of the socialist Order are honest? You don't think that when he says "I will do what works for kids regarding education..." only to cut the federal program that actually promotes free thinking in children and causes them to succeed in school isn't deceitful? You don't think that when you promise "no pork in our spending bills" only to turn around and leave hundreds of millions of pork in your trillion dollar spending frenzy isn't deceitful? I guess that you think campaigning on immediate withdrawal from Iraq, only to keep us there for at least 2 more years is an honest day's work? I suppose that you think pumping trillions into a failed banking system was the honest thing to do? You might think twice about that if you knew that it was those same banks, the very same failing banks, that donated millions on millions to his presidency.
It is, for me, not so much that he hasn't shown his true colors on the gun control issue yet. It is that he has shown his true colors on so many other issues that I know we are currently politically under attack by socialists that believe that the constitution is an outmoded document that needs to be destroyed. I do not trust this man as far as I could throw him and it is disturbing to me, and many like me, at how quickly, even in the face of economic disaster, that he is radically moving to change the legal fiber of this country. No ma`am! He sill not take my gun. You are right about that. Not, at least, without getting every single bullet that I have first... one at a time.
