For what it is worth, I vote that you change him and on that basis ... unvote
In answer to BG, you can than VS for the vatoe, he was the one suggesting monday but given MoB's post there's no point in pursuing it. The only reason I put him at L-1 is because there are 6 other voes on sg7, I assume that you are FOSing all 7 - now that's just outlandish and not just a little bit desperate on your part. You have made similar unwarranted comments against Gilligan and Zimmah but your most damning comment is ...
MoB Deadly wrote:I agree with Daz. I looked at Shields activity and he is pretty much no active on the entire site though.
He uses the Vacation thread from what i can tell and there is nothing there explaining an absence.
On that note
I will unvote vote ShieldGenerator
I also ask that he might be prodded....
So your only true reason to vote for me is that I did the same thing as you. That's not just weird, that's scummy!!
OK this is my 4th Mafia game. In my first game Safari suggested to lynch The Saxlad, who was an inactive. He seems to follow the policy of lynching inactives. One because they are dead weight regardless and second because it may be hard to find a replacement. We lynched the Saxlad who turned out to be our Town Dr.
How is that different then this scenario? We all know that SG7 is away from the site for whatever reason. If it is easy to replace him then do so...if not lynch him.
We can only be patiant for so long.
*grin* I also learned to lynch all liars...so perhaps VS falls into this catagory? (joke)

He's inactive in my game too. I'd say replace him if he hasn't come back by tomorrow.

We don't want to accidentally knock off our doctor just cause he's inactive. The less townies we have the worse our chances are of stopping the scum. If we lynch him before a claim and he turns up town then we just pretty much wasted a lynch.

Safari is playing it cautious. If we peg a town more or less at random like this and he is a driving force behind it he will be in the hot seat. Personally I suspect he is waiting for someone else to pick up the ball and run with it so he can point fingers D2.

Safari is not even playing
He checked the game for balance so if he was playing would it be fair?

Alright. I think since it is early here in the get go, this is probably the best solution. Replacing inactives mid-game are less fun, so if it seems like he's going down that route now, it sounds like the best idea. Mid-game replacements I've always thought were at times difficult to adjust to...since you've started to follow one player's ticks and line of thinking, you're thrown a whole new person.

Okay everyone, no bites for a replacement yet. And SG7 talked with me privately. He said he is back and around now and will not go inactive. He asked not to be replaced so I will go out on a limb and trust him.

So, while we are waiting for Shield to come a fail at making convincing justification for us not to just lynch him, does anyone have anything else they would like to discuss? As much as I am probably going to be fine with simply knocking off Shield as the day 1 lynch (barring certain role claims), we really should try to get some legit discussion in before the day ends...
Is Shield going to be replaced? He should be I think but if not lets get rid. An inactive is no use at all even if he is town. If he is scum then its a wee bonus.
I hope he is replaced though. I hate when inactives need to be lynched seems a waste to me.
