umm.... i personally think that would complicate things greatly. the previous system of positive neutral and negative was good enough; reading the feedback gives you a good enough idea of high or low positive/negative.
Interesting "solutions", MasterGuns... I like #1, I don't mind #2. I think the rest of them aren't as much "solutions" as they are "possible additions", because those things were never there in the first place.
The "two leagues" thing doesn't have much to do with feedback as far as I can see.

Well, that could lessen the damage. It wouldn't prevent someone from just leaving all 2s, of course.
i've probably said this like 5 times but here it is again: feedback is still viewable under profile.
.....Yes I did see that, but moving forward I believe the new system may be a little too vague and therefore some players make receive rankings they dont deserve or others will receive rankings that do not describe well enough what negative things you should "watch out" for with that player.
i think this star rating will be worth less than the feed back. for example, 123 positives and 0 negatives is very impressive, but a number from 1 to 5 doesn't mean much
But I really don't like not having comments directly attached to ratings. A lot of time I can judge from the feedback whether the person leaving the feedback had valid reasons or was just being a tool. So even if someone got negative ratings, I'd look to see why, then decide if I want to play them. The combination of the "Wall" and the ratings stars is much more complex and unreliable. I know the feedback will remain for a while, so now I actually have three places to check!
Yes this is easier for the mods, but I think it makes it more difficult for the players. But as I said, I'll hold off on totally slamming it until I've lived with it for a bit.

i aggree with limey.
one other good thing about the OLD feedback was that by reading it on an opponent you could sometimes gain insight as to how your opponent plays.

The stars are lame. They completely nerf the feedback system, which might have been the best thing about this game. If I don't have feedback to read, what can I do while I'm waiting for people to move? Plus, a few sentences tell a lot more than a stupid star.

(the reason I suggest this is because people who pay up for premium ussually dont break the rules as much because they have something to lose. Therefore, I can start a game for random players to join who are only premium and on average are more respectful players.) This would also be an incentive to purchase premium. Clearly you do not go to the forums much. If you had, you would have noticed that one player was busted 4 different times last week for multis. He bought premium for both accounts on every occasion. That was over $225 in a week. Clearly some people do not care about the money.
I think that the majority of people who like this new rating system are the people who have the most negative feedback. They will be able to hide easier.
I dont think this is fair to all the quality players who have obtained positive feedback.
