OK, that is your belief. The point of this thread is that a poll of Christians in the U.S. supports the view that many, many Christians do not believe that.

Oh for Pete's sake, just get lost, you unbelievably arrogant and snotty little man.

As I've explained to you millions of times, the poll does nothing of the sort, since it fails to provide for any of the myriad other theories on Salvation that exist and has wording that is incredibly misleading to anyone who has clue when it comes to theology (which evidently, expert statisticians though they may have been, the pollsters didn't).

Go and post something intelligent, or just leave those of us who want to have a sensible debate in peace.

OK, I think I have it figured out. You have very little control in your own life and/or feel highly emasculated. You have no wife/girlfriend and generally are socially retarded, burying yourself in your studies and fuming at the nightly news. You play no sports. These lengthy rants and imaginary "bitch slaps" give you a false feeling of superiority and control that you so desperately lack in your day-to-day life. You end practically every post with a victory speech of some kind proclaiming yourself the winner, the other poster the loser, and proceed to pat yourself on the back for your self-appointed genius. This last act alone reeks of immaturity and only cements my suspicion that you rarely "win" in real-life. But here, you can pretend to be a "bitch slapping" he-man who strides through the forum, proving yourself intellectually superior to all you encounter, putting down all you meet with endless insults and flushing your face with the glee of finally "winning" at something. :ugeek:

But I am probably wrong. After all I am just a "no-nothing, wispy haired, lispy, american leftist". (and something about "bullocks" thrown in for good measure)

Now I will sit back with some popcorn for the next round between you two...and place a bet on the American. :P
It wasn't very professional of Nappy to use insults to justify his opinion but other than that i don't see why you can't respond to his views, other then the insults they seem perfectly justified responses, it was ok to make that point but atleast try to reply to what he said and don't stoop to "his level", but don't take it i was just talking to you, i was talking to everyone, you were just the person i saw 1st.

No one is obliged to look past his insults to see if there is anything of value there.

Yeah, you do notice how it's only the responses in kind to their ad hominem that get paid any attention to... funny that, I wonder why that could be?

No, you're not, as brooksie pointed out, this isn't the DPR of North Korea.

However, as you have done now on countless threads (become something of a habit isn't it), if you've initiated ad hominem and are having the gall to accuse another for responding in kind, and are furthermore not responding to any of the substance posted by any members on the thread, then no one is obliged to take you seriously, and that they do not.

So, how about we get a response? I know a lot of people here are waiting to see, suspenseful atmosphere obliging, what you have to say for yourself after you so liberally ran your mouth earlier this week.

The OP to this thread presented professional poll results that indicate that many, many Christians are a much more tolerant and open-minded group that conventional wisdom would have us think. I find hope for a more tolerant future in that finding.

Hmm. He also made a series of frankly outrageous, and downright ignorant, comments which were deftly refuted by various posters acting in concert to expose him for the charlatan he is. He then wet his pants and started flaming them, and tried to report one to the mods when he responded in kind.

Well if you think there is nothing of value there just ignore him, he won't have anything to say then will he? I am literally a veteran here when i was making a statement in my thread about racism, i actively told people to avoid calling me like "you old racist r'tifact" or how nappy puts it "you wacist!!!!11!!!1!", never once did i ignore people on the basis of calling me a insulting, degrading word, i took the good points out of what they had to offer and debated them, showing the reason why i am not a "racist", so if i can do it by your' logic you can do it far better than me because you are undoubtably athiest and liberal (and always correct).

I am under no obligation to take nappy seriously when he insults me or other posters. I will, however, report him when he purposely acts to irritate or insult me or any other poster. I and several others have had enough of his attempts to insult people and hijack threads

In other words, no legal authority has the right to stop you making comments worthy of a clinically retarded ape. You will, however, refuse to not respond to any of the points made by any of the posters who disagree with you, and make repeated statements claiming to have reported for "flaming" anyone who decides to respond with a bit of force to your puerile petty aspersions and extreme rudeness, since you and goasklucy still too chicken to seriously address me and Crazy Anglican in rational debate.

So, we can basically say, you're someone who deliberately tries to start a flame war when you're intellectually cornered, then reports people who respond with far more clever and humorous comments than you can ever dream of posting to the mods. Welcome to the Vichy Thread under MaréchalPétainJH...

Only because your' allowing yourself to get annoyed, if you can't take the heat get out, as for nappy, he just has to watch what comes out of his mouth, be the bigger person and stop this, he might be doing you a favour in helping yourself prepare for life outside the realms of the tower of babble. :)

I'm not sure Nappy himself knows much outside of Babble- I recently glanced town the top 10 subjects and he was the most recent post in roughly 8/10 of them- spare time much?

Fact is MP is the OP. Anything Nappy or anything else brings to the discussion is in MPs thread- if they're going to run their mouths they are simply out of line. If they want to be obnoxious, state nonsense, and throw around random insults that do nothing but degrade intelligent conversations and debate people like crazya are capable of (someone i CAN have logical discussions with), they should start their own threads or find somewhere else to vent their teenage angst.

It's the holidays for him, he still does/is about to do higher education and if he wants to go on here and spend alot of time here he can, he might be browsing the internet while still keeping conquerclub open at the same time, he could of bought a PC game and is playing while checking to see, he could even be revising or something like that, you'll have to ask him and see.

And because Nappy is a teenager dosen't mean you have to be so ageist, For all we know someone among us could be a teenager, don't make assumptions that because he is a teenager he has anger flowing through him, now that's discrimination and is a complete double standard of what people arse "supposedly" against.

I'm sorry, who has written nothing but crass attempts at flames for the duration of this thread the minute his ridiculous theses that were calumnious attempts at trolling the Christians on this forum were exposed as such?

You know, I actually do find it possible to engage with my fellow man in rational conversation that is a mutual learning process, and much as that concept may be alien and unappealing to you, I do in fact get something out of productive debate. It has become painfully obvious to all that you don't wish to discuss anything with anyone, but continue masturbating yourself to your half-baked troll posts and start wetting yourself with humiliated rage when you're exposed for doing so. I'd counsel you to at least, if you're not going to even have the respect to apologize to either myself, Crazy Anglican or any other of the posters you've so grossly offended thus far, to not put on this farcical pretense of moral righteousness by pretending you've "contacted the mods" when you know full well that this will be overwhelmingly more likely to produce a ban for you to add to the shame of your intellectual abasement.

Ideally of course, you'd stun us all and respond intelligently to the series of valid commentaries made by your opponents, but I doubt we'll have such luck.

Brooksie... it's really appreciated that you'd come to my support, but frankly, there's no use trying to reason with these people. Lucy has already admitted she is unable to talk to people with opinions too differing from the ones cultivated by her sheltered existence in a PC dream in the world's richest country. As for the time I spend on here, irrelevant though it is to an of the points I've made, it just doesn't really take much of it to dismantle the sophistries posited by lucy's kind.

I posted some analysis I hope some people will find interesting, and at any rate clear up the malicious lies spread by mpjh. I know tonka has already commented on them and we've engaged in a mutually beneficial discussion that I think we're both enjoying. I'll leave the magic circus of pastry-faced socialists here to continue jumping up and down getting more and more excited until they wet themselves, and if anyone responds to my analysis on which I'm sure there are plenty of relevant counter-proposals waiting to be made by someone with a clue, I'd be delighted to chat to them about it.

In June, the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life published a controversial survey in which 70 percent of Americans said that they believed religions other than theirs could lead to eternal life.
Seventy percent, that is a large number. I find it very encouraging that Americans find the road to heaven a broad once allowing for lost of non-christian traffic.

Okay, I apologize for attributing his ignorant, insulting, off-topic posts and angst to his age- he could very well be older than 16.
