I've been quietly following this thread . Never said a word, just reading. It's explained a lot to me about people i knew, about doubts i had of them and how those doubts are no longer doubts.

Mike, you seriously need to stop playing this game for 3-6 months. Go and do something else with your life. TAKE A BREAK FFS.

If it's a tie, I vote no tiebreaker. 40-40 would say wonders for the Clan League.

in the event of a tie, i'd beseech both clans not to play a tiebreaker too.

I just hate the idea of a long protracted tie breaker. People will say that a 1 or 3 game tie breaker is unfair because it lends to chance etc. It's like flipping a coin some might say. On the other hand, if we're tied after 80 games, even playing 40 more is kind of like waiting for dice or luck to decide a winner, we have to be pretty close to equal if we end up 40-40, so if we really need a winner, let's just play 1 game. Or 3 games. Not 40 games though.

And if we just leave it a tie, at this point, i'm fine with it.

the question is this:

what sort of an idiot creates a series of games where a draw can be achieved?

well wouldn't a tiebreaker kinda be analogous to penalties in football, or overtime in hockey or [x,y,z]?

I believe that all clan wars have an even number of games pedro. It's so that both sides get an equal number of home games. Maybe those who plan clan wars should automatically throw in a quads on british isles to make it an odd number. New change to how clan wars are conducted?

Mmmm.... 40 games is the minimum....

After 40 games it was 22-18 for TSM

After 80 games it's 40-40 or 41-39 0r 42-38, ie., a tie or a round for THOTA

After 120 rounds it'll probably be 60-60

After 160 rounds it may be 81-79 for either one of us....

Great clan war, great fight. It just proved we are pretty much equal in strength at the moment....

Lx

we just need to have a winner ppl, in case of a tie additional 20 games wouldn't be too much I guess and a lot less ridiculous then 1 or 3 games

TSM looks like they should pull out WWII Europe, but they are going to need a miracle to pull off the Waterloo game. Again, well played by both sides.

the silence is aching in me

what is the deal? still close in both games where either team still has a realistic shot of winning either game?

I am listening to taps, honestly, right now; played by the marine corps band. Well played thota. You defeated us. Great job, was good fun, but you came out on top in the end. Excellent play.

As for my fellow monkeys, I found new respect for many of you, and gained new partners who I enjoy playing with. You guys played great, no one should hang their head, this could not have been much closer. There is no other group of guys I would rather team with.

GG's everyone. And this is where it ends. Now we must all say our goodbyes.
