Q; What is the difference between Alan Shearer and Newcastle United?
A; Shearer will be on match of the day next season
i saw that too, made me choke on my toast.
and yes pmc, thats what i meant, but city may be spending, but they arent in debt, so they will also cash in when the law comes in, which it looks like it will, prolly in 3 years or so if reports are to be beleived.
Nothing happens that quick, although Celtic are pretty much debt free so we are in no bother
As for tonights game what a frigin game unbelievable.

United's title again lads?
I don't mind if you win it just as long as you lose enough games to keep it intresting till the end.

What a depressing end to a good season, on the pitch at least. One bit of good(ish) news is that the Football League have confirmed that Stockport County will be deducted 10 points this season for going into administration, rather than next season. I am guessing that is because we didnt go voluntarily, but had it forced upon us.
That means if Stockport lose there last game there will need to be an 18 goal swing in Carlisle's favour for us to be relegated. Asuming Hartlepool, Northampton and Brighton all win aswell. If we can get out of administration before the next season starts we wont have a points deduction. Fingers crossed.
I am now wondering which players and staff we will lose...........

Commiserations man, I think it's well tight when a club is in financial trouble the FA go and make things worse for them.
Can you get points deducted 2 seasons running for being in administration? Didn't know that... I always have a soft spot for the local teams, even Man Shitty...
Given saved a penalty and we had another great home win against Hughes's old club. Robinho scored 14 Prem goals this year now. Manure next week, same result as last year and jobs a good 'un.
going to try and watch Rangers v Hearts in about 10 mins time.

This site's good for watching any game in the world, if your local's not showing what you wanna watch...Live footy streaming
Needs a bit of messing but usually good picture...
Job done aginst Aberdeen yesterday, got a bit nervy when we went 1 down but came back strong to win 3-1.
Rangers also managed to win though 2-0 so it sets it up nicely for the old firm next week.
We are one point ahead with 4 games left, and we are playing them at Ibrox. It wont neccessarily decide the title though as there are no easy games left we still have to play Dundee United, Hibs and Hearts. The one thing I like about the split is that it always means that you have big games at the end of the season meaning you really have to play well to snatch the title, unlike a certain unsteakable day when Rangers strolled to a goal difference league win on the last day.

now now Hugh, it was all above board. we could ay the same about the SFA being a bit bias to "Sellick" last year and not giving Rangers some breathing space. what was it, 9 games in 23 days.
Rangers 2 Heart of Midlothian 0
Velicka, Boyd.
Velicka is on fire at the moment. waited a long time for him and Hemdani was on the bench, 1st time this year. not played since the UEFA Cup Final. Edu seems to be a really good young ,strong player.
