Malkin's been playing well tonight. Would be nice to see more from him overall, though.

Think you meant Ovechikin vs. Crosby.

But speaking of Malkin...where has he been? He has played like he is in AA midget. Not making any plays...not back checking...not being a factor. Crosby has played great...but he can't do it all himself. The Caps supporting cast has been much better than the Pens.

Whoops. Freudian slip. That is what I meant.

Remember the Finals last year? It's becoming Malkin's MO.

Yeah...too bad for Crosby and the Pens as Crosby goes full out every game.

so i haven't watched the caps play for 6 straight games...

what happened was i got super stoned for game 3 vs the rangers, we won 4-0
2 nights later i watch sober, we lose
then, for game 5, i got drunk and watched, we won again

so since then i realized that if i don't watch, we win. its worked so far, hopefully it works again tonight. got 1 period to go.

Or you could get drunk (and possibly stoned) for every game, like a normal person.

No, the hip check that looked almost accidental. There was three quarters of a flip involved.

That's the one I meant. From my perspective, the guy doing the flip was the one who tried to make the hit, making it a "miss".

lol perhaps. I don't usually take intent into account in games where the outcome doesn't really matter too much for me. I just enjoy it when the bodies fly.

In all honesty, I stayed up for the Wings last night (who the f*ck plays hockey in California anyway? and why the hell do we have so many teams there?) and I think I might be crashing soon. I was hoping that I could see the end of the Boston/Carolina game, but, well...

I'm not looking forward to the potential Vancouver/Anaheim series. As a Leafs fan (I know, I know), I've picked the Canucks as "my team" this year, but I live 4 time zones east of both those cities.

Ha! That might blow. If that happens, I might be too disgusted to watch, and I'll just stick to the Eastern conference...

lol Malkin couldn't hold the puck if it were taped to his stick.

As I say that, he pulls a move...

If only he knew what "pass" meant.

Sleep does not start until all overtime games are over. Working on a few hours sleep due to staying up for OT is an acceptable right of sping

Ugh... I think the last Pittsburgh playoff overtime I watched was the one they had that went, like, six overtimes. It wasn't quite as fast paced as this one, which is a plus here. I'm getting old, methinks.

Commentary apparently think Malkin did better than we do.
