chaosfactor - throwing games/serial teammate killing [noted]

I understand the logistics and have dealt with the occasional case of deadbeating, people being rude etc. There is a difference between someone doing this once in awhile and having a bad game and the person who is the consistent out of control asshole. I've been playing long enough to be able to tell the difference.

Upon doing a little research I found that in almost every game chaos is in, he is rude in the game chat and picking fights with at least one other person. He even wrote this:

Once again proving why it is necessary to take action against him to try and prevent future incidences. Obviously the rating system is not taken seriously and does not go far enough to stop him from being a repeat offender. He is a bully and consistently abusive. I'm not trying to be some whiny kid. I'm just trying to end suffering and bring us one step closer to world peace.

Poor ratings don't stop him from joining other people's game and behaving similarly. That is why I feel this was pertinent. It's not about dinging someone who disagrees with me. It's about preventing similar situations from happening to assholes who don't think the rules apply to them.

Lastly, check this Game 5318233, in about round 8 he started killing off is own teammate because he was irritated by something he had done earlier in the game (he took one territory from him)...clearly stating he was planning on doing so.

interesting, I actually was JUST looking at this. What caught my eye was this line:

I looked further into the game, and his teammate was habitually killing him. Now I don't know if it was for cards or what, but there was some issue there. He took some terts back from his team mate, but then went after the other teams, and eventually they both were killed by someone else.

So yea, it's another instance where he gets into a fight with his teammate, but nothing really more than that. I've had worse experiences.

here's the deal serial as defined to us is a gross abuse. In this case for it to be serial teammate killing we would need several games where their is a question of the intentions of chaosfactor in regards to teammate killing.

So unless more surface from the community about this player purposely hijacking the game and killing his own teammates or we find it in the investigation then this wont be considered as serial teammate killing. This will however be looked at from the throwing the game factor.

If their is enough evidence to warrant a disciplinary action for either it will receive it. If not the answer will be to foe & rate accordingly FAMO.

The support in this claim should be to try to find evidence that either links chaos to either of these infractions or clears him, not whether or not this is a waste of time.. Its created now, it will be reviewed and ruled upon.

Everyone has the option/right to speak up about a situation that they feel is wrong. Duke is doing it here.

Well look into chaosfactors games, and see if he did this in other games, he might of had a bad day or 2 and just freaked out at others during the game? But if he does it all the time he should be warned... i thought his comments were hallarious tho... obviously i wouldn't have if i was on his team like MNDuke. I still think he should be warned at least, he did say he was throwing the game, thats not cool at all.

I'm guessing it was a rank thing. A major sees a sergeant (usually chaos's rank though I haven't checked) and assumes he is in position to dictate play. Maybe. But then we get to the issue of the use of language...but I'm not sure one can explain WHY it was condescending behavior. The OP can always just say "Hey I was just explaining what not to do!" though Chaos might well respond "As if I was not just a noob but a fucking retarded noob."

So overall I agree with chaosfactor's response. Chap who has been here as long as he shouldn't have to read that kind of crap with his morning coffee. One might have taken it a stage further though and joined all the rest of the OP's open games (before engaging), fucking up all those too and then at least justifying the serial teammate killing charge.

Therefore I can but say I applaud Chaofactor's methods but think he should have had a fag, and a think, and then really gone to town through a vicious campaign of massive teammate killing.

As for FAMO with chaos, I'm still sticking to my thread. His actions are reprehensible and he should be dealt with accordingly. Foeing and rating him accordingly is obviously not going to prevent this sort of malfeasance from occurring again in the future. On this I will not budge and there is no convincing me of otherwise.

Consider all the Multi issues we have here ( or used to before the forum was flooded with minor things), they repeat and repeat, even sometimes to the point of buying multiple premiums! Also, the farming, ect.

When they get really bad, MULTIPLE TIMES, thats when this forum is of use to punish them.

However, if we go the "warning" route, then we should be giving warnings for every tom dick and harry who pulls small bullshit that should warrent a ratings tag.

You haven't even taken the first necessary action. And again you are just reaching saying that FAMO and ratings haven't worked so far. They work for me. I don't join games with low rated players and I drop if they join team/multi games. If they still happen to make it into one of my games, and they poop the bed, I foe them too. I rarely have any of your problems.
