Version B and C allows to do so.

@MrBenn - well, slider can always be adjusted. This is just a demo to see how it could look like.

Any of the above would be good improvement, B being my prefered choice, Could this be done for the amount of men you which to attack a stack with ? i.e. only want to attack 50 of your stack into someone else?

BTW nice demo drop Lack :)

Yes, it had a time limit.

There seems to be a strong preference for C over B, which could be even stronger with some tweaking to the slider. But since the slider uses jquery (a JavaScript library) and that affects performance, I will put this on hold until I get clickable maps finished.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Hmm, that sounds like Clickable maps could be jQuery based? That could be interesting, If you need someone to double-check the code for performance gains, just PM me :)

Too bad I missed out on the poll. I like the third option, but it would be great if all 3 were available and could be set in preferences.

I don't think Lack is really fond of preferences, I wouldn't be either if I were him.

The problem with that idea is that you'll have to add something to everyone's profile, you'll have to maintain/check all versions of it when implementing new features and you'll have to produce the documentation to explain the differences (FAQ's, some questions in the forum will have to be answered, maybe something in the instructions). If you'd make everything an option, you'd very soon have something that's not really maintainable. And that would impact the speed of new improvements or fixes considerably.
All in all, I think this is too small to deserve to be an option.

Only if it really becomes slow in variant C (which I don't believe actually, since jQuery is currently used in 30%+ of the top 10.000 sites.. If it didn't perform for 0.5% of the people, it would never get near there), it would be an argument to make it an option.

I think CC can be revamped to use jQuery as well - will save the code and speed up the process (because jQuery is client-side, woohoo!).
