pretty simple imo
Yeah, there are a lot of logical leaps in your statements there...

I'll add other options if you can argue for their presence.

"Abortion is abortion" isn't negative.

As for the rest...while I disagree personally, I can at least understand someone considering it homicide...though not murder except in certain circumstances. But slavery? I don't get it...who is the slave in this instance?

Please explain it then, for those of us who are not insane enough to make the connection. Thanks.

So. Which do you think is worse, abortion or slavery?

slavery, but I do add it is hard to compare them. I only say slavery because of all the years of suffering a slave endures. A baby that is aborted doesn't really know what's going on.

Cool- care to explain? I'm wary of controlling the argument here, but clearly abortion isn't murder in any legal terms, and I suspect you wouldn't push for murder charges against the women who have had abortions.

I could be wrong...
No i wouldn't, but i believe it is murder... taking a life away from a life form before they are born.
Then you believe it is homicide, not murder.

Well they don't seem to understand what "plain and simple" means, so I'm not surprised...

Many "abortions" are actually surgical removeal of already dead infants. This is just one example of how the so-called "right to lifers" don't bother understanding facts.

Another is the utter refusal to accept that making abortions illegal means increased maternal deaths, serious increases in medical health costs and increased child neglect and abuse.

In short, this is not really about saving lives, its about making yourselves feel sanctimonious.

Sanctimonious wasn't a poll option...murder was. I don't need to clarify myself any further. You on the other hand feel it very necessary to explain and justify your position while trying to make abortion sound as if it were the salvation of the masses. Enough said...

Ok, not murder, as murder is, by definition killing of another human being illegally, it is a legal term, so woodruff is right. argue semantics again. it is, however, homicide. Happy? And, obviously we are not referring to the removal of what would other be a still birth, and perhaps if the mother will die otherwise, and there is no way to save the infant, so it is one or the other, then the mother has the right to life, but when a woman is pregnant because she was sleeping with her boyfriend or husband, that's her fault. and the child has the right to life.

Yep, except the clump of cells that you have 1 hour after insemination is not, by any reasonable definition a "child" or a human being.

The point when it becomes a "child" is debatable and difficult to establish, but you really have to stretch your definitions a lot for those cells to be considered human beings.

except that the clump of human cells is the only clump of human cells with the specific genetic makeup, is identifiably human, and is living. But that doesn't matter, most preventative abortions are committed in the second and third trimesters, when the child has a beating heart, detectable brain waves and fingerprints.

Murder. Plain & Simple.

If you don't want to get knocked up, put a sock on it, or keep in it your pants!
Dude, even wearing a condom, you can get knocked up. Hell, even taking the pill is not a guarantee. If my girlfriend would get pregnant, we would both be throwing our carreers away taking care of it. In this age there is no room for conservative catholics and other idiots who oppose abortion itself. The miracle of life has changed somewhat through the ages. Nowadays, it is the task for an intelligent man and woman to first build a safe environment in which kids can be succesfully brought up, and then make a bunch of happy succesful kids :)

We talked about it, and I'm glad to know my girlfriend, being the modern, intelligent girl that she is, would go for abortion if an unwanted pregnancy should occur in the next few years, and she would have my full support. Are you calling my girlfriend a murderer?

Another question: where between a guy ejaculating and a baby coming out of the vagina did life start? Isn't using precaution already murder?
If it really is so simple, why are still acting so inconsistent? We all know you masturbate there, sitting in front of this screen. You're wasting beautiful kids, MURDERER!

Well, get used to it. There isn't a subject on the planet Player can't change into a 'right wing is evil' lecture. You're just lucky you got out of there with less than 17 paragraphs of justifying.

I am. I is. I is. I is. I is.

Abortion is..

One of two possible solutions to the problem of pregnancy. The other is suicide of the prospective mother. I favour the second solution, two birds, one last groan.

One of the few noble gifts humanity bequeaths to existence. It is an act of true love waiting to not exist.

Also, it is in the contract that we have with the universe, ‘the Universal Document’.

Clause 16, paragraph 1.9634

“We, the people, will be active in limiting the spread of our filthy virulent humanity….”

Personally I think we’ve been negligent in this department as there are definitely 18 shouldn’t have beens floating around out there.

On the downside, there is a heaven for aborted existents. Michael Jackson is the current caretaker, he runs a tight ship, just how he likes it.

Caretaker is a funny word huh? Sure, it doesn't quite tickle the teeth like aborted, religious, or conservative, does.

I would have to say under most circumstances it is murder. Under EXTREME out of the ordinary cases the baby can cause the mother danger for life and therefore I would say it is okay to have an abortion if both would die in the event the abortion doesn't happen. Otherwise, abortion is indeed murder. The reason is that the fetus is indeed living inside the mother, an unborn child does not equal a nonliving organism, it is simply a living thing that can't fight for itself.

Lots of people justify it simply because the alternative is having a child that started from simply "having fun" to put it lightly. People do many things that cause them issues, and they have to pay the consequences for what they do. In this instance the consequences can be life changing. But in my personal opinion we should stand up for the mistakes we make, rather than simply trying to make the "easy" fix to our issue.

Looking at it plain and simple, basically, Abortion is murder because the child is alive.
