A little bit.riskllama wrote:do you miss the Platinum Lounge? if yes, how much do you miss it?
Master of Puppets.also, what is the best thrash metal album of all time? master of puppets or reign in blood?
Kill 'Em Allriskllama wrote:ok, which one has the better cover art?

There's not much point in fact checking over the interwebs. It's probably best to keep it light and low pressure. For example:riskllama wrote:that wasn't one of the albums. don't go rogue on me now, mets - i must know...

I'll take that as a "yes".Metsfanmax wrote:Such an ungentlemanly question.

Absolutely not. No win is ever worth that cost.khazalid wrote:is it ever acceptable to force your pikachu to evolve? would you for instance, in an otherwise unwinnable avatar battle, begin sporting a reluctant raichu?
I wouldn't dream of blatantly contradicting max in this thread but I mean really, pokemon are meant to be our slaves and, if properly trained, ought not to have an inkling of a sense of "self" as it were.khazalid wrote:is it ever acceptable to force your pikachu to evolve? would you for instance, in an otherwise unwinnable avatar battle, begin sporting a reluctant raichu?

Bro it's like you didn't even play the Pokemon games. Pokemon are our partners and friends, not our slaves. We keep them locked up without food or water in tiny prisons and then force them to fight each other into submission because we love them.Funkyterrance wrote:I wouldn't dream of blatantly contradicting max in this thread but I mean really, pokemon are meant to be our slaves and, if properly trained, ought not to have an inkling of a sense of "self" as it were.khazalid wrote:is it ever acceptable to force your pikachu to evolve? would you for instance, in an otherwise unwinnable avatar battle, begin sporting a reluctant raichu?
It's a tough world, max. The sooner you realize that, the better.Metsfanmax wrote:Bro it's like you didn't even play the Pokemon games. Pokemon are our partners and friends, not our slaves. If you find that ironic, consider that a nation largely consisting of self-described animal lovers regularly condones and indirectly participates in the process of breeding animals in captivity, giving them hormones to grow at unnaturally large rates, and then slaughtering them at a young age because they like the taste of the flesh of those animals. That's some tough love.

been there done that. A mysterious 'hooded figure' showed up at a pride parade/celebration and lit the entire club on fire by accidentally using holi powder with the stage pyrotechnics. The 'hooded figure' was reported to vanish into thin air.DaGip wrote:Are you going to Hell?
My avatar isn't a Pikachu because I like Pokemon. It's because I asked Saxi to select a new avatar and he came up with Pikajew.Funkyterrance wrote:It's a tough world, max. As far as not playing the games, well... When you face my bench you'll see the merit of my philosophy as my pokemon shows no mercy or emotion while your fiery, independant little pikachu screams in agony.

If you were in the PL you'd have a different avatar...Metsfanmax wrote:My avatar isn't a Pikachu because I like Pokemon. No. If I do not know in advance the subject, the only person I would permit to choose it is saxi.Funkyterrance wrote:Would you accept an invitation to, through private messaging, a debate in moral philosophy, on the subject of my choice?
