We're kinda highjacking the thread a bit with all this talk about spam, but let me just end with this:
It had some spam-esque qualities, as I stated earlier. A lot of smilies, fairly silly, ect. But, he was commenting on how his math skills were a bit under par. That was the ultimate point of his post. Since this is a math thread, it was still completely on topic and so it was not spam.
