There is a list of roles - in my documents folder. You're not going to see it until the end

Neoteny is completely right. You're going to have to guess yourself whether I put any secret magical Ecuadorian princesses in here, if such a claim pops up.

There are, essentially, two kinds of roles: roles that you'll encounter in a lot of games, and roles that are unique to the game you're playing. For a list of common roles, check wikipedia or mafiascum. There are useful links in the sticky that will help you judge how common a role is.

Personally, when I'm scum, I take a perverted pleasure in claiming something outrageous. The vets can tell you more about that

Obviously, no matter how you fake your claim, there's always going to be a risk. And even if your claim is true, it may not save you.

None of the above should be construed as a statement about Jecko7's or Neoteny's scumminess or townieness. It's just a general explanation.
