I do not go into chat very often. Not because of the great people in there ( NOT SARCASTIC) but time is an issue) I talk to must of my friends on IM or by PM I watch General Discussions for out of character posts or Read OWENS latest posts. He lets me know if I missed one. When I do go into chat they make me feel very welcome. The only place I stay completly out of is Flame wars. Now that is an ugly mess.

i went there in the wee hours and got called a name by a cook for not starting a game for him to play RT with me, 1v1... then, i talked to some of my fan club for a bit, that was pleasant... i gave them gems to embrace for the day, to help them through the humdrum and tedium of work... then i came back, and there was a mod in there, and it got interesting... i had no idea the bans could be handed out so quickly and in real time!! it was very interesting to see... i thanked my lucky turtles that mods don't have that power in the forums!!! however, i must admit, the guy was a total ass and deserved what he got. it was just all very interesting to watch. i am hoping to continue observing this strange new world, jane goodall style, for awhile...-0wacicha wrote:When I do go into chat they make me feel very welcome.

Please do not feed the trolls in live chat. This usually results in the trolls grunting , swinging their clubs and stomping the ground in aggressive manners. At certain times, this will only result in more trolls crawling out from their holes,bridges, and swamps. One must be careful not to encourage these gruesome creatures. It is also a good idea to avoid becoming an easy target for these wild free roaming beasts. Observation is great, but may at times change the behavior of the subjects being observed , and can result in injury to the party studying the phenomenon.
