Know what I just realized about that passage? That it's not describing the end of days, or even the near end of days. I think Jesus was sending words of comfort to people saying that just 'cause the world looks like it's going to shit, it's really not.

And I quote,
Matthew 24 wrote: 3And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
He starts off by commanding his disciples not to be deceived, even when wars break out and "nation rises against nation" because the end isn't yet here, and then gives more examples of the world degenerating.

But then in verse 14 he says that the end will come when the gospel is brought to all nations to be witnessed, thus the missionary efforts these days into tribal regions to get people converted so the end of the world can come.

P.S. Yes, though I don't really show it, I am actually a Christian. I just don't think that shouting out "GOD IS REAL CONVERT NOW. YOUR OPINION IS EVIL AND MEANS NOTHING" isn't the right way to go about things, but I'm just quirky that way. Anyway, have fun dissecting my recent revelation. It's quite new so it probably needs some tweaking, but I'm pretty sure about it, so yeah.

Matthew 24:7

Oh my god... a millenium ago, there were earthquakes, pestilences, famines, and a hell of a lot of wars. You know what this means, don't you...

The World has Already Ended. We are now living in a post-apocalypse society. Those quotes prove it.
How about these, "the sun will not give its light and the moon shall turn blood red". What is intriguing about Nibiro is that it could block out the suns light and if Nibiro reflected off of our moon guess what color the moon would appear to be? Red, because Nibiru is a red planet.

"stars will fall from the sky"

"people will look up, and faint from fear"
Can't block out the sun if it doesn't go between the Earth and the Sun, and by your article that you posted, the guy claims that the orbit just goes in as far as the outer edges of the asteroid belt, which was, last time I checked, farther from the Sun than the Earth.

So many nutjobs obsessed with the end of the world and their next life, get reborn a hundred times and I still doubt you would have learnt how to chill and actually enjoy living :?

Aw man, it's a Dylan lyric:

There's been rumours of war, and wars that have been
The meaning of life has been lost in the wind
Some people saying that the end is close by
'Stead of learning to live they are learning to die...

Jay - could you be any more vague? War? Pestilence? Famine?
The sun blocked? Moon turning red? These things happen every time there is a solar and lunar eclipse, respectively. Always have done.

Dylan spelled backwards is Nalyd. Pronounce it! Nailed! Know who else got nailed?

Is this some type of sign about a certain son-of-god being reborn in our time to share his fathers wisdom through his beautiful peotry-songs?

No.

What about that toilet-paper-ish looking strip of cloth that hangs around his neck?

I heard that whatever the pope touches becomes holy? Is this true? That would make this alot funnier to me. Blessed is my ass paper...

Jay, congratulations. You are such a powerful psychic that I can actually feel my IQ decreasing merely from reading your posts.

Lets assume the figures from the article you posted are correct. Nibiru is a Jupiter-mass object with a period of 3600 years, comes as close as the edge of the asteroid belt, last came that close in 160BCE and is going to kill us all in 2012.
Jay, whoever concocted the 2012 date for you clearly flunked out of any maths class they even contemplated taking. 160BC + 3600 years is AD 3440. You have quite a while to wait until Armageddon, my maths-challenged friend.

Now let us contemplate the mutual incompatability of Nibiru and ourselves. Do you have any idea what a Jupiter-mass object swinging wildly through the solar system would do to our own tidy little orbit? If Nibiru exists, we don't. In fact, if it exists, life on this planet doesn't. A massive orbital perturbation like that every 3600 years would have thrown Earth into interstellar space long ago.
Nibiru would have done even worse things to the asteroid belt, it being much closer and it's components having much smaller mass than the Earth. Since it exists, we can conclude Nibiru doesn't.
I also suppose you never contemplated than Nibiru has completed it's orbit more than twice. If Nibiru is going to render the Earth nigh-uninhabitable, why hasn't it done it before? It's completed millions of orbits, yet hasn't done anything as of yet?

I'm not even going how hugely, hugely wrong that site is on the entire "Nibiru collided with the Earth!" thing. It makes me sad that science has been bastardised so much by people who want to make completely disconnected facts fit.
We own all your helmets, we own all your shoes, we own all your generals. Touch us and you loooose...

I was under the impression that Nibiru was some type of interstellar reflection of Jupiter. But I haven't really done any reading on it in like 8 years.

For all practical intents, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE A LOOSE CANNON PLANET WITH JUPITERS MASS IN OUR GALAXY. Jupiter herself is a shield planet. A second one would probably catapult us into space, or absorb us. An actual orbiting planet is impossible. Not to discuss the math behind it.
I couldn't agree more.

But at the same time, the action/reaction of Nibiru in our system has been documented. So is it a reflection, or what is making those gravity wells?

I've only read the first page but I have to say that for anyone who thinks that there are more and more Near Earth Objects (NEO's) than ever, that's very likely false, for we now have the technology to detect the orbits of cosmic bodies, so there have probably been NEO's this frequent forever.

(This basically only applies for bible-believers)

In the bible, it says only GOD knows when the world will end, therefore predicting it is already breaking a commandment, trying to be God, and it will end when there is enough commotion nobody will convert anymore, and if that is in the next day, or the next millenium, nobody knows or will ever know! The Bible says the earth will come to an end after the war vs. good and evil, and that is to take place on earth. No NEO's or Nibiru is going to change it.

There is no commandment, "Thou shall not try to predict the end of the world". Sorry. As a matter of fact, Jesus told us that no one knows the day nor hour (of Christs return) but He did say "you can know the season" or about the time these things will take place.

Furthermore the Bible does not state the world will end. What will end is man's obsession with screwing it up! Jesus will rule the Earth for 1000 years! I personally can't wait.

If that is all the scripture that you have to back this up, I'm sad to say, but that discribes all of human history from when that was first said to nowadays.

The point I was making was that while being ready is a good thing, it should not become an idol. The goal is to bring the Word of the Lord to all the world and to live in the fullest measure of that Word, co-laboring with God to that end.

Yes, no one will know the day nor hour "of Christs return" but as I've already stated, He said we can know the season.
The problem is that describes a lot of history from then to now. Pick a date from 70 AD to today and you can make those two verses say it is the End of Days.

There have been many who claimed to know when it would happen, all have been dead wrong.

In all honesty, I believe the "End Times" have been upon us for a long time, and I think it'll be along time comin'. Instead of worrying about it, do what the Lord called you to do; Co-labor with Him to bring Heaven to Earth.

I think the main reason we don't see miricles everyday is because we don't have that expectation.

What say you?
