School is partially there so that people can come to understand each other (which seems to prove a point here), as well as to learn more then what a thrown together wikipedia article can give (which half the time, is 3/4 wrong).

So, Stephen, what you're saying is that college indoctrinates you into the system, and the only way to fight the system is to learn as little as possible? Because we all know how much a typical liberal arts school encourages students to stick with the status quo.

Of all those schools you listed, I only applied to two in common for undergrad. Georgetown and Hopkins. Didn't end up going to either, but that's just because I personally wanted to go to a different city than either Baltimore or D.C.

Bowdoin I almost applied to, but decided against it. However, I loved that campus, and the connection to Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain is of course cool.
