Good luck to everyone...the first-round matches in the Aussie Open have been sent out, and I'll probably get the Davis Cup tourney started in the next few days as well.

Let's try to keep the pace of play moving, so players aren't waiting too long for the next "weeks" tournaments to get started.

Yes...the first two sets of each match will be settings...chained, flat, sunny
The third set will be settings...chained, no spoils, foggy

Early results are in for the Aussie Open and four have already advanced into the second round...an yes, I was an early victim...out in round one

Bracket updated...more than half of the first-round matches are complete...available second-round matches have been sent out.

The Davis Cup bracket is also post...end of the first post under the initial player signups...captains have been contacted to set their doubles/singles lineups and I'm hoping to get games out for the quarterfinal round by mid-week.

Just a suggestion, but in the semi's and final of the Davis Cup maybe each player could play one singles rubber and the top 2 moneywinners could play doubles?
