I just updated the thread in our clan forum. Current result, counting finished games: IA 5 - Dragoons 6

But of the remaining/ongoing games, I am counting 3 more wins for the Dragoons, that should come in the next couple of days. And not a single game, that really looks like a safe win for us.

11-9 would be my guess, though 2 games haven't been decided yet.

You guys killed us in the first set, but it seems we managed to come back, and it is all open again. Current score, after finished games: 7-9

8-12 or 9-11 is my guess for half time result.

And we are still waiting for your next set of games, that was due last weekend. It seems, you have not even started setting it up ...

Ok. Let me dust off this thread ...

Current result, counting finished games: IA 9 - Dragoons 10

One game still ongoing, and that one could go either way at this point: [game]5803886[/game]

Because of scheduling problems, the 2nd half of the challenge has been postponed til January.

We didn´t want to play these games over Christmas / New Year.

Oh, this does look like a fun one. Should be very close, good players on both sides. I say 22-20 either side. Good luck : )

Seems rather unlikely, considering we are playing only 42 games. Weren´t you a maths teacher, or something ? I´d stick with your earlier prediction of 22-20, if I were you ... ;)

Dragoons win [game]6256728[/game], Assassins win [game]6257021[/game].

Current score, after finished games: 11-11.

[game]6286919[/game] is another one for the Dragoons, that should be done in the next round.

2 games looking good for IA, 3 more for the Dragoons, with the rest in the balance. A tight battle for sure ...

My pessimist nature predicts 14-17 after the Dragoons home games. We´ll certainly need a strong home set yet again. Speaking of which:

Dubs
[game]6326810[/game] - Iraq - No Cards, Chained, Fog
[game]6326813[/game] - Cairns Metro - No Cards, Chained, Sunny
[game]6326814[/game] - Mongol Empire - No Cards, Chained, Sunny
[game]6326816[/game] - Extreme Global Warming - Esc, Chained, Sunny

Trips
[game]6326819[/game] - Prohibition Chicago - Esc, Chained, Fog
[game]6326823[/game] - Alexanders Empire - No Cards, Chained, Sunny
[game]6326831[/game] - Tamriel - No Cards, Chained, Sunny
[game]6326838[/game] - Supermax - No Cards, Chained, Fog

Quads
[game]6326839[/game] - World 2.1 - No Cards, Chained, Sunny
[game]6326850[/game] - WW2 Euro - No Cards, Chained, Sunny
[game]6326861[/game] - Charleston - No Cards, Chained, Sunny

It's a tight battle for sure, and i wouldnt like to make predictions! I'll certainly come down to your last home set but it could swing either way. By the way, my pessimist nature says we wont be ahead (maybe even) after our home games :geek:

Goons are doing pretty well in their home games, this one's definitely going to be a squeaker. I predict a tie and a contentious tie-breaker discussion.

Yep. Quoting the initial agreement:

And in the rather unlikely event of a tie (21-21):

Another set of 12+1 games: Each clan choosing 2 Dubs, Trips & Quads again, and 1 more game to make sure we don´t get a tie again: Dubs on British Isles, No Cards, Chained (as it is also used in the Play-offs in the league).

You guys should really spice this up a little bit. Talk some trash, update the score more often. Do something to make this one seem more interesting. You have two top 10 clans in a closely contested clan war, make a little noise

I can only speak for our side: Many of our members are not very active in the forums & stick to playing their games. Seeing all the bickering & the festival of ego-trips in the Conquerors Cup thread, people arguing over their rank on some ladder and how great & under-rated they are, I am actually considering this a good thing. Maybe we are simply not interested in this kind of trash-talk ...

That being said, this challenge here has probably been hurt by the organisational mess surrounding it. We were supposed to be done last year, but the Dragoons were late in sending & joining games in almost every single set. Our last home set was supposed to start a week ago, and the Dragoons have just started to join these games last night. Because we had to re-schedule the entire challenge, what should have been a small, tight & tense 2 months battle, is now going into its 5th month. I guess, this has somewhat dampened the enthusiasm in the whole thing.

As for the infrequent up-dates: We kind of gave up on that, when lovo didn´t even respond to our PMs anymore, when we asked, if he could up-date the results. So let me do it for him:

Assassins win [game]6259061[/game], Dragoons win [game]6290597[/game] & [game]6256332[/game].

Current score, after finished games: Assassins 13 - Dragoons 14

[game]6259831[/game] is another win for the Dragoons. 3 Quads in the balance, and 11 more games just starting.

I am going to stick with my prediction of 14-17 after the Dragoons 2nd home set, and I really hope, we can stage another come-back in our home games ... O:)

Ok, fine. That Ahunda guy is exceptionally rude. Sometimes I just want to smack the bastard right in the mouth.

Oh...wait...did you mean about the Dragoons?

lol, masterF.

Ahunda, thanks for the response. This one really is interesting to me. I have a top 10 clans list coming out next week in the paper, and I have IA above dragoons. It would certainly be interesting if dragoons can win this. :D
