No

I think we should lower taxes and use the money that is generated more wisely. Perhaps more money could be attributed to children instead of politically biased and misleading studies and what not.

Either way, throwing money at a problem rarely fixes it. Paying more money is not a guarantee (or even indication) that there will be improvement.

I don't have a problem with stopping for school buses or slowing down in school zones. I think children should be protected from predators. They should also be protected from people who would seek to indoctrinate them with an ideology which is in contradiction to their families traditions (so long as the traditions are rational). I'm even for a free and public education.

With that said, there is only so much which can be imposed on everyone for the welfare of this one group of people. Keep in mind all regulations which are put in place to serve people in their adolescence will one day inconvenience them.

Aside from taking a harder stance on child predators, I think there are already more than enough regulations in place to protect children.

They should probably have more guns.

This thread is weird.
"Some motherfuckers are always trying to ice skate uphill."

Duane: You know what they say about love and war.
Tim: Yes, one involves a lot of physical and psychological pain, and the other one's war.

:?: :?: Are you saying children should have more guns? If so, my girls would agree with you! They have large caliber handguns on their Xmas list!! :D

I have to be honest and tell you that's scary. If they're old enough to have a Christmas list, they should already have pump-actions by now.

Actually, they do! :D One has a 20 ga., the other a 16ga. Also, .22 revolvers, .22 semi-auto rifles, a bolt action .243, and a lever action 30-30! And no reason to be scared! Unless you come skulking around my house, and then it would be too late!

Actually, you don't have the right to keep your own money; otherwise, that could be used to justify not paying any taxes.

No, health care is not a right. Health care would be a right if people were paying taxes specifically for it, but it is wrong to impose taxes on one person to pay for the expenses of another.

That's quite selfish of you. And since you feel that it is wrong to impose taxes to pay for another's expenses, what are your opinions on the tax money spent on government expenses for other things? Since those taxes are paying for another's expenses, then it must be wrong as well, right?

People are not entitled to be taken care of by other people unless they are children.

Yeah, so forget all those half-way houses and any program caring for adults (18+?) or non-children (lol). Sure, Gabon, and let's screw over numerous war veterans as well, and any attempt to caring for people with drug addiction and whatever else; Gabon, you're ridiculous and not funny.

Right, let the bans on mass media begin! May as well do away with free speech as well. That'll be a surefire where to protect them. So for the sake of clarity, give us an example.

Gabon, you're really not making much sense. And the main thing keeping this thread interesting are the jokes (thanks, fellas).
