And Edocsil my conjecture is far from pointless.

If I picked 7 players at random I could say the exact same thing. So I guess I really don't see what can be drawn from that statement.

There is a difference between picking 7 people at random and picking from a pool of players who may have a vested interest in eagleblade dieing.

It certianly is a stronger base to work from then what we have so far and makes more sense then tryng to figure out if "glowing words" and solitary figures means anything.

Ionno, the problem with eagle is that just about everyone who played with him has come away with a bad experience. So it could be that people just voted him regardless of what alignment the voters were.

It would also make it safer to vote for him, so like everything, its how one chooses to look at it.

Not trying to fly under any radar Edoc,just learning a little caution from previous games, if I dont understand the situation I try not to jump to far. I.e, the dreamer never seen it before and thats why I missed the possible reference in the scene.

But my thought is if this role is correct it will be the one that needs to be protected.

And I think the best way is for them to stay in the background as much as possible. let others ask the questions.

Now having said that where can I reference what that role is, and what it does so I can understand what is going on.

Guilty...I will admit I lose track of what was said at times. I was busy in my own head with my own ideas, (IE probobilities) that I forgot I had read through it already.

With that said, while I dont feel edocil has a particularly strong case, Edocil beleives does. I was not ready to Vote one way or the other.
I now however feel comfortable putting pressure on Jgordon as he just did a blatent OMGUS on Brain.

I personly feel skimming is over rated unless it is done habitually in the same game. In my opinion people tend use it to create suspicion on someone without really having anything solid. I created a thread in Mafia forums raising such an issue.

I will give you advice I gave another player and try to play by, which is not always easy. Just because you know you are town does not mean anyone else does.

You are saying you would rather be lynched and turn up town then claim. As BG pointed out you act as if you are above standard Mafia protocal. Please explain how this would help Town if you really are town.

Very active. Little said was useful. Common for scum looking to appear protown without actually attempting to contribute.

Therefore rather than try to cleverly hint at who I am, I will choose the tactic I figure is best, which in this instance is not to claim. Edoc knew his case was weak and figured if enough people pushed I would be forced into claiming. No thank you.

This statement actually puts more suspicion on you I think than not claiming at all. I will not vote as of yet. But if we need some more pressure my vote will come.

Yes you may be one of the players that posts the most, but flying under the radar can be considered a couple different things.
Posting a lot with little substance could be considered, it makes you look active but you really don't have much info to help build a case or have your own.
Then their is posting just enough to keep the prods out, while having enough info to make you seem a little useful (posting about every other page or so, but this obviously depends on game size)

Also this "OK I won't claim, forget it." seems to me like you are scared to claim, and that you are whining about the case rather than trying to defend yourself properly, and/or building a case to look at instead, especially one that has a bit more behind it than edoc's.

You make alot of assumptions thinking they come across as fact. When did Edocil become such an expert on your playing style?
He is suppose to have the ability to determine if you or Town or mafia based on how many games played together?

weather one votes 3rd or 5th does not dictate weather thay are scum or Town.

You have not answered the question how if you are forced to claim, being lynched would be the better option then claiming. If you could answer that to my satisfaction in a logical way I would reconsider my vote.

I'm confused by your apparent refusal to claim. All you've really said as defense (and rehashed several times now) is that you think edoc is wrong about whether you've been "active" or not. That said, I see no reason for town to not claim. I can understand if a power role like a doc would want to fakeclaim another town role to deflect blame, but I don't see how any townie could decide not to claim and believe that helps town.

I fully agree you are posting a lot. The thing is you are posting large volumes while saying little. That is the whole point of my argument.

You are acting beyond foolishly, whether you are town or scum.
