Probably Sichuan :D I'm also a big fan of Beijing food, but you can't beat a big Sichuan style spicy fish.

Cantonese comes a comfortable third place on that list. Just not a fan of that seafood or the sweet stuff. Sorry mac.

I haven't watched it, but I'm fairly familiar with the content. It was pretty big news in China when it was released.

2 questions :
do y'all eat potatoes in china(not talking French fries).
what kind of soya sauce do you buy? in Canada, all we get is China lily and kikkoman. I could probly get other kinds in an Asian market, but they always smell terrible...

1. Not very often. In fact, very rarely.
2. I don't actually have soy sauce at home, but my dumpling vinegar is Hengshun.

Dumplings are great :D

wtf is soo chow? People don't get arrested for having more kids than they're allowed. You just have to pay a fine, and don't get govt subsidized access to healthcare, education and so on for that child.

How do you know so much about American hip hop/rap? You once quoted an underground rapper that's been dead for years. Not too many outside of New York know of him so how does a person in China know of Big L?

As far as I'm aware I only really know that one song of his :3 it was on some hip hop mix tape I ended up in possession of after a party years ago.

I still miss my 8 track tapes. I hated going to cassette, since my entire music collection was on 8 track. I do tho have an awesome record [album] collection. Guess I'm showing my age, sigh...
