Totally confirming

Question: how much does fatigue impact the game? For instance does a world player after 60 minutes play more like an excellent or very good?

I'm not giving that info up so easily :P You'll have to work that out for yourself.

Also one more question, would you like to be told players moral or just the team's overall moral?

Friendlies:
Redcar Royals v TWAT
Emo United v Norfolk and Chance
Down Under United v 7th Legion of Set
Thunder Hawks v Red Stick Cajuns

Ok I am going to send you out some info on your team and wha you have to send me back. Don't send in your training before I do so.

********IMPORTANT INFO FOR THE NEW SEASON*********************

Finally we are ready to go :D

This season there are major changes to the system that will hopefully make it more exciting, more realistic and most of all more interactive. Plus the match reports are bound to be better now that you have someone that can actually spell, form a sentence or two and isn't a lazy bugger  In the form of the legend that is cena-rules.

Now it's your turn, here is all you need to know about this years system.

At the start of every week I will pm you with your team's data and previously used tactics. It's then up to you to choose your team, tactics, planned substitutions and set piece taker for the up-coming game.

Choosing your Team:

All your players will be presented in the form:
Name, Age, Fitness, Ability

E.g.
Norfolk and Chance
1. Hart 20 100 Very Good
2. Carragher 30 100 Excellent
3. Cannavaro 35 100 World Class..........

In your reply pm you should return the 11 players that you wish to start.

Choosing your tactics:

This works much the same as last season, except this time I will spare you the agony of sending you your previously used tactics.

For the benifit of the newcomers:

There are 10 categories for you to choose from as your tactics for each week. You have 500 points to spend averaging out at 50 per category. You cannot go above 80 or below 20 in any one category.

The ten categories are:
Attack, Defence, Pace, Fitness, Moral, Set Pieces, Discipline, Strength, Passing and Technique.

Example Tactics:
Attack 60
Defence 60
Pace 60
Fitness 60
Moral 60
Set Pieces 40
Discipline 40
Strength 40
Passing 40
Technique 40

Planning Your Substitutions:

Your allowed up to 3 planned subs, you must say which player is to come off, which player is to come on, the conditions in which they are to be subbed and the time at which it is to happen.

Allowed conditions:
1. If winning
2. If losing
3. If drawing.
4. If score is (give exact score)
5. Any conditions
(more may be added after friendlies)

Allowed times:
Any time in match (in mins) that is divisible by 5. (matches last 90 mins)

As soon as the condition is met and the time is reached/past then the sub will be made.

Example Subs:
1. Torres OFF, Adebayor ON, If winning after 60 minutes.
2. Lampard OFF, Icedagger ON, After 10 minutes.
3. Samaras OFF, McDonald ON, If losing 2-0 after 45 minutes.

Choosing your set-piece taker:

Pick any player in your squad to take your set plays except your keeper.

Bugs:
Temporarily there are still a few minor bugs but I would rather press on without them, they are that corners are far too rare and that players always choose to cross from free-kicks. Oh and the red/yellow card system isn't working yet so no-one can get sent off lol. These will be fixed before the season begins along with any problems raised by you lot.

Send your info back to me and I wll run the match before passing it to cena, he will then compile match reports from the raw data and post them here. Any more questions pm me, good luck for the season ahead!

Just a few more points raised by iliad:

You cannot as of yet change formations.
I had got one of his players ratings wrong check that your are the same as those on page one.

Oh and btw I've made it easier to score and open up leads this year so don't be surprised if you see a few thrashings.

We have one person (lozz) to report back. Two of the other three games have been run (including yours) and will be posted soon-ish.

Oh and since I forgot:

News Flash
It has finally been confirmed that The Usual 1 has taken over as manager of Thunder Hawks. Earlier this year Thunder Hawks made a controvertial decision to bring back their failed manager, Animorpherv. Under Animorpherv's leadership Thunder Hawks failed to win a single league game last season and finished bottom of the CCPL, after this Ani was sacked but was reinstated during the summer transfer window. However increasing pressure from fans and critisism over the transfers he made led to him being sacked for the seond time in a few months. theusual1 has been looking for a job in CC for some months now and his big break has finally come, this weekend his team will face off agianst Red Stick Cajuns in a friendly. It's a tough task for the new manager as last season Red Stick finished 2nd in the league, won the FA cup and are now favourites to take the title this season.

The opening round of friendlies sees Thunder Hawks host Red Stick Cajuns. Thunder Hawks, under new management will be hoping for a win to boost their morale going into this season, whereas RSC will be looking to continue their run of form from the end of last season.

The match started at a frantic pace with each team attacking and counter attacking. The first real chance of the match came for the Thunder Hawks after just 3 minutes when Quaresma fouled Xavi wide on the left. Xavi picked himself up and swung the freekick deep into the box. In amongst the bodies Huntalaar rose highest but sent his header wide of the left hand post.

From the goal kick Buffon hit the ball to the halfway line where it was headed on by Bullard. His header was half cleared by Nosworthy but his header fell to the feet on Toni. Toni took two steps and fired a shot from 25 yards. It hit the left hand post and with Given rooted to the spot flew into the net.
Thunder Hawks 0 - 1 Red Stick Cajuns

The next 10 minutes saw Thunder Hawks have two great chances, both falling to Huntalaar. First, Xavi played a long hopeful ball over the top which Huntalaar controlled on his chest and turned Ferdinand with ease before sending his shot over the bar. The second came after some nice flowing football, which ended with Xavi playing a ball in from the right which Huntalaar headed onto the bar and over.

The game quietened down until stoppage time when RSC won a corner, which C.Ronaldo whipped in from the right and Puyol had a free header at the back post which is caught by Given. Given threw the ball to Huntalaar who ran from the edge of his own box, beating 4 defenders on the way before firing his shot in from the edge of the area that came back off the post and fell to his feet. He made no mistake the second time as he slotted it into the bottom left of the net
Thunder Hawks 1- 1 Red Stick Cajuns

Half Time
Thunder Hawks 1- 1 Red Stick Cajuns

The second half started as the first had finished. Red Stick Cajuns were on the attack right from the start and were rewarded when Ballack swung a cross in from the right for C.Ronaldo to head high into the roof of the net.
Thunder Hawks 1- 2 Red Stick Cajuns

After 52 minutes RSC had a glorious opportunity to extend their lead further. Toni broke free down the left hand side and cut back into the box. He laid the ball into the path of Ballack whos shot was saved acrobatically by Given.

Each manager decided to change things after 60 minutes with Thunder Hawks bringing on Mpenza for Huntalaar and RSC bringing off Ballack for Delap.

After these changes RSC began to dominate the game. After 71 minutes Bullard played a through ball into the path of Santa Cruz who took it first time and beat Given but fired it onto the crossbar and out.

In the 76th minute RSC had two glorious opportunities to kill off the game. First Quaresma whipped the ball in and Santa Cruz took it on the chest, turned and tried a deft lob of Given. Given puched the ball away out wide into the path of Bullard, who Villa took down. The referee gave the free kick and Bullard took it quick, pulled it short to Toni but he fired his shot wide.

Play became less and less attacking with both teams appearing to tire. However in the 92nd Minute Toni ran down the right and pulled the ball back from the byline allowing Santa Cruz to tap home and seal the victory for RSC
Thunder Hawks 1 - 3 Red Stick Cajuns

Full Time
