Maybe confusing was the wrong word? Too much irrelevent/unnecessary info thats only distracting and isn't immediately informative?

I like seeing all the players without having to go back to page 1 because I check it a lot from my phone and I don't want to forget about players.

How is the color? I made it darker and bolded it to make it easier to read.

Aside from discussion about the best ways to display vote counts, let's see if we can figure out where to go, since we've got 9 days, and knowing our pace so far, we'll probably need those 9 days, Ha.

If we don't have any ultra or super strong suspicions, perhaps we can start somewhere by investigating smaller suspicions?

That wouldn't be interesting.

I want to play, but the holiday season may slightly draw down my activity level. The real issue is that we are stuck in the Day 1 area and don't have anything to go on anymore. In an attempt to alleviate this I am no going to go back and see if a can drudge up anything resembling a case. But don't get your hopes set too high, I am not a miracle worker and whatever I come back with will probably be pretty lame.

Alright thus begins the trawl through the thread. First thing I notice is that Mob needs to update the first post to include Strikewolf's replacement of Shield.
Anyhow after rereading the game, I have decided that a case against Dazza would be the most interesting.
dazza2008 wrote:I just had a look through and all Shield has said is in and confirm. vote shieldgenerator7
Here he is starting the initial bandwagon against Shield. Now, there are multiple possibilities for his potential motivation in such an action. If he is scum he could be trying to start up a case (any case) in order to avoid one starting on him or one of his scum mates. Additionally, he picked an inactive player with a bit of a reputation for not coming up with that good of defenses to start this case against. This could be a scummy sign that he either hoped shield wouldn't come back and would be lynched based on that, or that he hopped shield would come back and make a fail defense. A comparatively easy lynch in either case.
dazza2008 wrote:Yeah. I don't get why everyone worries so much about getting someone to L-1. If there is a hammer out of the blue it would most certainly be scum who did it so whats the worry?
Here he expresses the sentiment that holding Shield at L-1 wouldn't be so bad. Perhaps he was hopping for someone not thinking to come by and hammer? That would provide him with a swift end to the lynch today and a target that would either draw cop investigations tonight and/or be the main case tomorrow.
dazza2008 wrote:Unvote as SG7 was replaced.

I find Hippo very scummy here. He seems to be all over the place. Vote Hippo
He jumps on the Hippo bandwagon, ensuring that it would become the dominate case on be very likely to at least reach the point where a claim would be required. And we now can all see how that worked out.
In conclusion, this case that extensive or great, but on Day 1 I think it is interesting enough to take a look at. Unvote Vote Dazza.

As another added note of holiday fun...my internet is down at home. Im not sure if its a hardware problem or not. The point is at present I need to go to a cafe to play. I will only be able to post once or so a day till issue fixed. But at the pace the game is going that should not be a problem.

I was wrong about the L-1 thing but the Sheild case was just because he was inactive. What more did we have to go on? To say I just targetted him because he is poor at defending himseld is nonesonse. I only voted him as he was inactive. He has been replaced by a very active player so all is good.

I never hopped on the hippo wagon. He acted scummy as hell. If he is the doc it was the worst play I have ever seen. Why draw so much attention if you are the doc? I have said that I believe his claim for now(we have to believe a doc claim). I was not the only person who thought he acted scummy. Most of the players in this game did.

I wouldn't actually have been against voting against dazza to get some good momentum going and perhaps maybe a useful claim as well, but he's been quick to try dispel rumours so not really sure if it'll work.

Who's the most experienced mafia campaigner here anyway? What do you guys do other than joke votes on Day 1? I remember from a previous game that Safari was all for advocating still lynching somebody on day 1 to get something out of it, but I'm really uncertain on that whole idea.
The only other thing to do would perhaps be to vote a no lynch, but other than the fact that I hear it's supposedly a pretty scummy move, it could set up a bad precedent in that we could be stuck with this same situation tomorrow as well?

Tbh, I don't really think it would've been such a problem to lynch sg7 and be done with it? Heck, even when he was at L1, he didn't claim or anything to get off the hook, just said he was back active again. So whats special about him as opposed to hippo?

Well because sg7 was replaced by one of those experienced campaigners. ;)

As far as who are the experienced mafia campaigners. Purely for when they started playing it would be Andy, me and Spiesr in this game but andy took a long hiatus from mafia to focus on modwork. As far as experience, most would probably still say me and spiesr.

Gamewise, I like the case Spiesr brought forward. I won't yet follow it as it isn't the strongest case ever and I still need to look back into a couple players but I did like it.

For the next two weeks I'm going to be away and pretty much uncontactable. I hope that isn't a problem, if it is then I am sorry. I've said what I've needed to say which should see us through until the night, I doubt tomorrow will run quickly so I hope to squeek back in with assistance in day two. Have a good Christmas and New Year everyone.

Your talking our Duality Game? Yup Safari advocated it, we hung The Saxlad due to his complete inactivity. He turned out to be our town doctor. There are pros and cons. saxlad was dead weight. Even though he was the doc he wouldnt have been able to help. So in that case it was a good idea to take a shot at the "lotto" and hope for the best. I can see the merits.

This game no one stands out as an inactive. Hippo was our best case but we need to play a wait and see game with him. No lynch would be a bad idea as well.

So we're 1 week away now from our Deadline.

In terms of cases other than the old SG7 and Hippo cases, Spiesr presented a case against Dazza, and I presented some questions (not quite a case) about Soundman. I can't recall anyone else bringing anything more forward about any additional players, so I think I'll probably either cast a vote Dazza's way, based pm Spiesr's case, or Soundman's way, if I go back and feel my questions about him did not get resolved.

With Xmas weekend here It makes it hard to focus on game Plus my computer will be down till 30th at minimum.

I do not however see a compelling case against Dazza other then that its better then a NO lynch.

Yeah, this is really starting to smell like a NL, having a lynch over the holiday is unlikely.
