yah, that sucks, but give the guy a break, its a huge tourney, did the best he could, doing a swell jobdenominator wrote:...wait a minute....
Those of us who joined our games but they were dropped because somebody else didn't are eliminated regardless? That hardly seems fair. This tournament took forever to fill, so it's inevitable that some people wouldn't join their games, especially with such a large tournament. I know that my game had 6 or 7 people in it almost immediately, where it stayed for two weeks, then dropped.
If this is the case, I won't be playing in any more of your tournaments. It's simply to fair to be eliminated because somebody else didn't join the game.
i agree, doing tourny's your first time is not that easy...give him a break..now given, if he messes up next time then, no mercy..Beckytheblondie wrote:yah, that sucks, but give the guy a break, its a huge tourney, did the best he could, doing a swell jobdenominator wrote:...wait a minute....

Be that as it may, denominator's right, it isn't fair that a whole group of folks should be eliminated without even playingauggiemaster wrote:i agree, doing tourny's your first time is not that easy...give him a break..now given, if he messes up next time then, no mercy..Beckytheblondie wrote:yah, that sucks, but give the guy a break, its a huge tourney, did the best he could, doing a swell jobdenominator wrote:...wait a minute....

I totally understand that. I haven't run a tournament yet because I know I don't have the time to do it right now. That's also why I haven't gotten upset over the length of it in the least - it's a huge tournament and it's his first.auggiemaster wrote:i agree, doing tourny's your first time is not that easy...give him a break..now given, if he messes up next time then, no mercy..Beckytheblondie wrote:yah, that sucks, but give the guy a break, its a huge tourney, did the best he could, doing a swell jobdenominator wrote:...wait a minute....

Thanks. This, to me, seems the appropriate course of action.juliusceaser wrote:actually, you know what i'll do? i'll send out pms to all the people who's games were canceled, and who ever replies within three days will be put into more games that i will make. this also solves the problem of reorganizing round two games.
