I miss the old days. After reading the first page of a really old thread that just got bumped I realized just how many people have left since I got here. Highborn, Ak, Wicked (more recently), sports, Kylie, wacicha and so many others. Together these people helped forged the very beginning of this forum and now they are gone.

People who go away always find their way back one way or another. Probably.

Not always. Remember fluffy. He tried to come back but that mean old police officer ran over him.

Yeah, I still get his PM's inviting me to his "Diamonds and Swords" games even though I haven't played regularly in months.

What about the tiles? They don't look that big...

Trying to be witty I see. I'd counter but I'm not really in a witty mood.

Well, now we have to get it going again but this time let's not burn so much wood. Keep it just low enough to be controlled.

Anyways back on topic. The weather here has been pretty bad all day. We've had three major storms blow in and the wind has been blowing anywhere from 10-45 mph. I got out of class today at around 9 only to find that it was raining. Even after just a few seconds in the rain it was bad enough to completely drench me head to foot and made my shoes heavy with water. Later I stopped by the university store to pick up and umbrella, only to find that they cost $22. So I went back out after paying for it only to feel like I was about to float off like Mary Poppins as the wind blew my umbrella everywhere. the streets were busy with large groups of students rushing back from class and I was being constantly bumped into (especially by freeloaders who didn't have their own umbrellas). the gutters in the town couldn't handle so much rain so fast and in the end, I was forced to walk through puddles that came up half way to my knee, making my shoes heavy with water. I finally got back to my dorm started to change my drenched clothes for drier ones when some people came by to announce that there was a tornado warning and I ended up spending the next hour in the hallway with a dead computer. Thankfullly, though the day has gotten a little better since then.

Yes. Mainly through playing pool. It's amazing how many people will line up just to lose to you.
