I would hazard a guess that if you said 'the brown sauce they give you with some Japanese food', 99% of Chinese people would say 'wtf is that?'

Outside of colonialism and war crimes, Japan's hallmark produce (from the perspective of a Chinese) is its anime/cartoons, its wealth of pornographic output, and its rice. Condiments don't really register on the radar.

But for me personally, I like it

They're simplified, and they say 'build a pink world'

(the Chinese for pink contains the character which means 'red')

Xinjiang and Sichuan are both places I have not been and would actively like to go to. Xinjiang for the Islamic culture, Sichuan for the pandas and hot pot ^3^
