Well, I turned down the chance to see "Body of Lies" for free to join a pool tournament with a secret top prize. I made it all the way to the final round (with the help of some other people getting upset in their games) before being defeated. Now i feel sad.

It turned out to be a reserved copy of Guitar Hero World Tour (what that has to do with pool, I don't know). Which is the very game I was trying to get for someone else. I personally don't have a use for it as I usually avoid playing the fake guitar (I'm paranoid about it's affect on my actual guitar playing) but I really could have used that chance to get it for free.

Hard luck wolfie. I want to go and see that new western (Apaloosa)but I think it may be a solo trip - I don't think I'll persuade the rest of the curl clan to go.

no bluegray?
(\__/) (= . =) (")_(") bringing back that bunny pride why did they get rid of gridiron gang bluegray eh' woman
Well, listen: I have blue eyes. If you wait a few years I'm sure my hair will eventuallly go gray. Then I can just look in my mirror and go "Blue, gray. Blue, gray". But not just yet. Meanwhile I guess I'll have to read about your civil war a bit more. Out loud, I suppose.
(Incidentally, the curlette said to me yesterday that the kids in her class all thought I was cool, mainly because of my accent. They all wish they had a daad with such a cool accent. Maybe she's beginning to regret losing her own accent so efficiently.)

Actually, I once played Guitar Hero for a prolonged period of time and actually saw improvement in my real guitar speed and dexterity. Now I haven't played Guitar Hero in a while and I'm much better than I was at the real thing, so I don't know if that would have an effect on anything now except for the one it had before, but if you seriously think it'll harm your ability, then don't do it. It really is up to you.
I've not had time to play it, but the kids do. The average quality of music that they're listening to has in consequence improved, so I'm all for it. Until they make a Wii version where you have to match the rapper's arm movements...
