Rail Europe ([game]7745098[/game]) is completed, and is the 27th THOTA victory. Assuming that Montreal, Das Schloss (dubs), Hive, and WWII Ardennes are all LoW victories, it looks like the score will be 27-24, with 9 games left in contention: NA (dubs) - [game]7745086[/game] Conquer Man - [game]7747827[/game] Rail Africa - [game]7745217[/game] New World - [game]7747832[/game] Bamboo Jack - [game]7747822[/game] D-Day - [game]7745095[/game] Waterloo - [game]7625336[/game] WWII Gazala - [game]7625341[/game] Das Schloss (trips) - [game]7747812[/game]

And thus that demented game goes into the books. f*ck, we won it and I feel scarred. I feel weirdly badly for wids and dcc.

The sad thing is that I spent no small time cruising through "In the Loop" quotes, looking for one that would work, so much so that now I really want to watch that movie again...

well, one could read that as THOTA won
again against sub-par play, etc.....so it could be misunderstood.
But thank you killing....we appreciate the good competition.

The accent-grave is a nice touch.
While I can't in good conscience accept your congratulations until that 31st win is well and truly in the books, I appreciate the kind words. You guys played strong, but the missed turns certainly didn't help.

tk's right enough though. if that was the best they could have played then they'd never have won CLA last season. sure, we'd have won anyway, but it would have wound up 31-29, and reptile would have aggravated his/her hernia a bit more. there was a hint of martyrdom in those missed turns
well played guys, gl for 3rd place.

That game hurt. I'm still rubbing the wound. Well played, always fun (even when I want to cry)

What's "Denouement," and do we officially have 30 yet?

It's a literary term for when something is winding down.
