I was cured of being treasurer after my friend's stag night. Everyone thought I'd be the best bet to look after the "whip", since I was the most responsible person there (yes it was a rough crowd). This worked fine until the next morning when I found I'd drunkenly spent every last penny of my own money as part of the "whip"...
