[game]18717611[/game]
[game]18717612[/game]

one sunny as per standard and one foggy as per manly. both poly trips
let me know if i did anything wrong, otherwise im looking forward to a nice fight

do I also send the invite to ganguscalm ? password is ladder for both games, i forgot how to do the join with password code..

/ :?:

Won't need a PW if he you send him an invite I do believe... also the standard sunny "3rd game" is suppose to be regular 1v1 I do believe, no Poly... Poly only on your home settings and opponents settings if they choose to have it. Send him the invites to the 2 games you made and either send him a PM or let him know on his wall he has a Ladder Challenge ;)

I won my match against Chuck - 2-1 (makes us even in the last two challenges 3-3).

Here are the games:
[game]18707641[/game] Eurasia - BT
[game]18707850[/game] Lunar War - Chuck
[game]18707639[/game] Eastern Hemisphere - BT

All good games and exciting fun.

Thanks Chuck for bringing the ladder back to life

doesn't say anything about no poly though? or is that implied?

if it is here is a standard 1v1: [game]18719473[/game] same pass

Anonymus set up a tiebreaker game as a sunny polymorphic triples.

one sunny as per standard and one foggy as per manly. both poly trips
let me know if i did anything wrong, otherwise im looking forward to a nice fight

I first wrote that I thought the rule excluding polymorphic was implied but would re-read the rule. After doing that, I think it is more than implied.

It is prohibited. The settings are specified, you don't get to pick anything.

"All games will be on Random maps. Each player is allowed to choose the settings for his/her home map/game. The CHALLENGER must create the third map/game with the following settings: Auto, Seq, Esc, Chained, Sunny, No Trench, No Turn Limit."

The tiebreaker is supposed to be the same in each match, that is why no one gets to pick the settings. If as the challenger or the one being challenged, you make the tiebreaker "poly" you are picking the setting. The tiebreaker is supposed to be a straight forward sunny game. The spirit of the rule is to have one of the games be the same for everyone.

I am sure Chuck will chime in if I am wrong about this interpretation.

I noticed that you set up a third game with standard rules. That was a nice piece of flexibility. Good to see you back here Anonymus.

I wouldn't call you a noob, though, with the number of games you have played since 2009!! :) :)

hehe, yeah, well i feel like a noob after 4 years away from the site having to re-learn everything.. but yeah i did play in this ladder the first time around when poly wasnt even an option on the site..

after poly became an option i have played very few straight 1v1's since so much about who goes first, but I hope i can hold my own still nevertheless.. or those 12k games where wasted ;)

thanks for the help and warm welcome back guys..

Couple of things...

1. Welcome back to the Ladder. I moved your old stats over, so you are updated.
2. The Tie-Breaker game cannot be Poly. It must be Standard - Automatic - Escalating - Chained - Sunny - No Trench - No Round Limit.

[game]18717612[/game] is invalid as it is Poly and needs to be remade by Anon.

I did record the challenge.

An oversight that has never been brought up in almost three years. Rule #5 has been updated to include No Poly.

Noob mistake by Anon...we all make them, even me....all is right with the world...well, it will be right after Anonymus buys shots for the whole Ladder!!!

I'm up 2-0 vs Dukasaur, and 1 game pending but, typically I would post the score after the final game, but with the invite miss, wanted to be sure the games were noted correctly
