The last wedding I went to in China the groom wore a Western suit and the woman wore a white dress
It's not uncommon to see the bride wearing a red qipao (the sexy Asian dress), but these days men generally wear a suit or tux or something.

If by 'Mao suits' you mean those worker's jackets then the only time you see those any more are on old people or the occasional manual laborer.
