It's time for strike's movie of the week!

This week's movie you ask?

District 9. Now I don't know what most of you are thinking. Some of you might be saying that weird movie with the weirder looking aliens? and to that I would say yes but it is more than that. District 9 is a must see great movie. The plot is great. The acting is good. And the execution is brilliant. At the same time though this is not a movie that you should take kids to see. I would go into detail but I do not want to risk spoiling anything about this movie. GO SEE IT NOW! so in short: Definitely a lot of violence and some definitely splattering of blood and gore. In my opinion, District 9 gets a 9.6 out of 10.

The Wolf has Spoken.

hey i already wrot all of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i said exactly what you said!!!!!!1

First of all I posted it before I saw your post. Second of all I refuse to remove this or change my post of the day as I believe it is worth telling.

Remember to make an offer they can't refuse. By the way, I am highly shocked and somewhat appalled (I can't be truely disgustingly appalled until after I've actually played the game for myself) that they made a video game out of The Godfather. One of the greatest, deepest movies of all time and now they're making a videogame out of it? One that will most likely butcher if not the story line something about the movie? I mean what's next making a video game about Casablanca or Citizen Kane? Or Star Wars?

i will not watch the godfathers cause i do not like gangster movies i find them boring and make me fall asleep

That's too bad. The Godfather is one of the best movies of all time. I mean yeah it's long and it's not like it's an action movie by any means but it is extremely well done. And not like a steak well-done. Like a movie well-done.

i like that steak analogy because i love RARE!!!!!!!! STEAK.

Of course, that's why it's there.

Cadet again. i have a bad habit of joining two player games on maps I know nothing about. Like the latest one on King of the Mountains where i didn't know that the helipads could attack the kings and that turned a good positioning for me into the worst loss I've had in a while.

THough the game i won was pretty good for me. Took West Country right out from under everyone with some good dice. took some territories in S. England the next turn and connected all my troops down south. Captured S. England Next turn with good fortifications all around and had no one attempt to break it. From there I had a mixed set and used it to aggressively claim North England, Wales and break Greens bonus in Ireland and on the next turn I finished them both, making a minor mistake that didn't come to anything as I advanced through their territories and won the game.

I've only played 3. Lost 2 and won one. The one I won the guy missed his first 3 turns and was kicked...

You were postless for 5 days before returning to the forums yesterday and this is your first time posting in this thread since just under a month ago on July 18th. How do I know this? Probably because I keep track of all of you. Or it could be a short visit to the advanced search menu looking up the keyword "the longest thread thread" under author Apey but htat would be cheating.

WHat's this have to do with Latin America?

I've never heard of someone missing their turns in a 2 player game. Was this like a speed game or something?
