Could someone explain the sudden increase at the end ?
I can't..
I think is some sort of rounding thing that the program does. And it hits some sort of logarithmic repeating decimal. Not sure though. I bet in a few days it will change and be more reflective of your score.
Naah, the end point is the amount of points you have now, second to last point is the amount of points the script calculated (excluding games with missing logs). I guess you won quite a lot of points in the games with missing logs, which creates the jump. My graph goes up over 200 points too, but for some it could go down.

There is something wrong with the way this chart displays data. The horizontal axis is not actually time. I stopped playing for 14 months between summer 07 and summer 08, during which time my score was 2,278. There should be a long horizontal line through about 1/3 of my chart.

I believe that the horizontal line actually represents games played. In other words the "x" coordinate would correspond to how many games you had played up to that point, that is the only explanation I can think of for why I don't have a long flat line for the times when I wasn't playing.

In fact that first high peak on the right side occurred in late 2,008, after my long break was over. After that you see a wide area where my score is low, that corresponds to maybe a year, but also to a large number of games, which is why it is so wide. That was me medal hunting, a lot of it being freestyle, speed, ass doodle. Then I went back to normal games.

That makes sense.

It does, but it's not the problem.
Map Rank GL shows there are 5 missing logs:
Game 141307
Game 2594384
Game 2624445
Game 2624463
Game 2624871

I won 3 games with missing logs, and lost 2 games with missing logs. That would mean I'm a few points up.
But in the chart I jump something like 1000 points at the end.
So the problem is somewhere else..

Yeah, you're right. I think that explanation goes for me though, and I saw someone who had had a score reset and had a strange graph too.
But somehow it calculates 541 results for you, where you only have 529 games, and 5 should be missing.. Looks like a different thing then.

Looks pretty fucked up :P
Where can you see it calculates 541 results ? Cause that doesn't make any sense at all...

I think it would be awesome to see, as George mentioned, an x-axis that was based on Time interval. Then we could really how long (and not in terms of game numbers) it took or has taken players to ascend or descend! I don't know if it's feasible though.

Wow - that's some lay-off period George.

Mine looks like this - bit dull really. But I do get that jumpy thing at the end.

my score chart demonstrates why i find this website boring anymore

i'll get on a hot streak go up in the rankings then all of a sudden the dice/the breaks go against me for a long stretch i drop right down to where i began

its boring and probably contrived. ok player X had a sharp rise in the rankings time to activate the bad dice/luck code for a while

once you reach a certain level of knowledge about playing CC and then you play people with the same skill level (let's call them good players) then CC is about 95% based on luck. i know there's people who like pat themselves on the back and claim otherwise but its the case.

This (in my hopeful opinion) is not true

Do you really have nothing better to do than telling everybody how much luck CC is on the forums all day?

Yes everybody's chart is wrong, cspare has already said that, but the OP appears not to have listened.

The problem which could be corrected is that the point swings are not ordered by time. (Map Rank charts do this, so they are accurate)

There is no point in trying to explain things away with missing logs.

The ONLY correct points are the first and the last. All the other points in between are wrong.

That is why people are saying their charts are wrong - this is a correct assessment.

As cspare has already recommended, look at the Map Rank charts, it's either that or he has to do a lot of work in reorganising the points on the chart.
