Thats pretty cool, tho it does still seem a bit on the low side for a whole years of campaigning.

Anyway, I'm eagerly awaiting the first team event of TPA2 this week

The winners of the major events in Season 1 get 6 months of premium membership. I still don't know if I'll have enough to give to the overall winners of season 1 or 2 or the majors in season 2, so those are still up in the air but possible.

Neither I nor any of the TOs will be sending out emails. It is possible to set your preferences so that when a thread you have subscribed to gets a reply you get an email and it is also common although not required for TOs of new TPA events to post in the thread but again that's not a requirement.

New TPA events will come out every Monday

The Year 2 Scoreboard is up however Google Docs is having an issue with sharing and I can't get it set to public yet. The current standings (based on DJ Teflon's speed tournament only)
