Platinum and/or Diamond Medals

Some 4th medal is needed. Bronze to gold is too easy for some people.

I second this.....not only would it give some people new heights to reach, but it would diversify the current medal standings a little more.

it would tempt me to buy premium for another year. Right now, nothing left to play for. I need a couple more medals for tournies won and than im done.

I dont necessarily agree with the sequential medal. But I think it's kind of lame that gold cross map is achieved after 60 maps when there is ~150 to choose from - and that's just one example. I think the medals need an update, like they hade done with the ranks in past time. There's a bunch of players that need more to strive for, and I think platinum medals is a good answer to that!

60 was chosen when there was about 100 maps. It's gonna seem really silly when there are 300 maps.

Mmm maybe we should ask WidowMakers (the original medals creator) if he can make some designs for the next level medals.

another medal Idea instead of platinum and diamond...may be to say a player has achieved gold 2 times gold 3 times...etc..this would keep from setting diamond so high that you only can achieve it after years on the website..

As any one suggested adding a Platinum then Diamond medals. So you have bronze then silver, gold, platinum, and diamond. Diamond could be an absorbent number, and I also think it would quench people's thirst for more medals. Then all you'd have to do is just add some more colors instead of more symbols.

EDIT: Wow I am retarded it was on the next page. There should be platinum and diamond, but diamond should be a high enough number were few people have gotten already.

Agree, a few more medals tiers would be nice.

Also agree that there's a problem when freestyle players can get all the medals, but seq players cannot.

Either a seq medal should be added, or the standard single medal should count only for seq games.

i think the diamond and platinum medal option could be combined to a "Medal after gold" option.

Pretty simple, this medal will give you the ambition to go for a medal after Gold.

Specifics/Details:
Right now, the amount needed for the platinum medal is up in the air. I will leave it for the community to come up with a the amount needed.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
Will create something for members to go for, and to continue to use more settings.

Concise description:
There should be a level of medals above gold for a much higher level of achievement. For example, for crossmaps, I would recommend 5 unique defeats for *ALL* non-beta games.

My guess is, unless the amount you need to get is extremely high, that many of the old members would have attained platinum already. But this thread does remind me of something I gotta do.

Alright, I had a poll up in the old medal suggestion thread, and after some time, i am pulling out certain Medals for recognition. This is the first one

Right now bronze = 20, silver = 100, gold = 400. Silver = 5x bronze, gold = 4x silver. Follow the pattern and you get platinum = 3x gold, or 1200 wins.
