Ever noticed how it's always Christians and Jews being persecuted? The only two civilised religions in a sea of savagery.
No,Muslims have their sectarian divides also and they've been killing and persecuting each other almost from the get go..
Exactly. It is a savage religion.
Never said that, the biggest problem with all religions is the adherents.

I pointed out that Christianity and Judaism are the only civilised religions. You quickly followed up with examples of Muslims and Buddhists being brutal. You clearly support my point.

You are aware that the threads on this site are published on google, right? Anyone can view the stuff that CC puts out within the forums. I'd call that publishing.

What would you call it?
So google's publishing this, or ConquerClub is publishing this? You're being very vague, so I'd appreciate some clarity.
I'm still unclear about what you would call it, so, having given an answer to the poster who was banned for calling for my death, I think you might owe me an answer to my question.
As I delve further into the question, you leave me with no answers. How can I respond to a question to which you provide no further information??

Well, as Tertullian said, "The blood of the saints is the seed of the church."

From the National Post yesterday:
Eighty people have been executed by firing squad in North Korea for watching foreign films, according to a newspaper report.

South Korea’s JoongAng Ilbo newspaper reported that the co-ordinated public executions took place in seven separate cities earlier this month.

In one case, the local authorities rounded up 10,000 people, including children, and forced them to watch, it reported.

Those put to death were found guilty by the state of minor misdemeanors, including watching videos of South Korean television programs or possessing a Bible.

Sources told the paper that witnesses saw eight people tied to stakes in the Shinpoong Stadium, in Kangwon Province, before having sacks placed over their heads and being executed by soldiers firing machineguns....

It's only 80 Ray, Mets should be able to get it down to 60 later on.

The religion itself is peaceful,as are most. The problem is the adherents, look at Tibet before Communism,or the Sri lankan civil war,or the persecution and murder of Muslims in Myanmar currently ongoing by Buddhists, including monks.
I've been in Thailand long enough to see Buddhists are not especially gentle people, and this is a Western stereotype looking through rose-tinted glasses.
That's the problem with every religion. Just because people are jerks does not make the original idea wrong.

Most of the Thai people probably just say they are Buddhists, kind of like every president of the US is "Christian".

If I give someone twenty dollars and ask them to go buy 6 beers, then instead they go kill everyone at the liquor store, bring back whiskey and keep the money. Is everyone going to be talking about how me and beer are bad?

Did they cite their following of you as their reason for killing all those people? Did they target those people specifically because those people aren't followers of you?

If you must use analogies then try not to over-simplify in the process.

I can't provide any further information about what you would call it. That answer is yours. Perhaps I could ask a simpler question, and pose it "Why don't you think it's publishing?"

Or to use a more realistic example, when the U.S. announced that there was a holy war against non-Christians, would that count?

Name another religion whose adherents know how to behave themselves in a civilized manner.

All the others are engaged in slaughter to at least some extent.

Wait, you don't think that the President of the US announced that the "War on Terror" was a "Crusade"?

'Crusade' does not mean 'holy war'. Online dictionaries are your friend.

Christians are being killed because of their faith. Christians are not killing others because of their faith. I stand by my statement.

Online dictionaries are very rarely your friend. When you declare that your war is a crusade, it's religious.

Thanks for at least tacitly acknowledging that the US government declared a crusade though.

The finer points are, of course, now up for debate.

Is a war a crusade for both sides when one side declares it a religious war? Maybe President Bush should have called it an anti-crusade or something.

Does anyone know some characteristics of a crusade? Does it involve rebuilding the country you invaded? Does it involve training the military forces of the country you invaded?

Perhaps you could look to other Crusades for examples, there were a few of them.

Does calling a war a crusade, alone, make it a crusade? I think that's what you're saying.

If the leader of a nation, when declaring war makes a national speech saying that it's a crusade, I would say that's strong evidence in favour.
