The playoff picture is clearing up with some teams completing their regular-season schedule while others are closing in on that. Still a question of homefield for the knockout stage in the East and three teams fighting for the last two spots in the West.

Playoff matchups will be sent as soon as seedings are finalized.

nothing new has gone final...but Real Salt Lake strikes early in Leg 2 to go up 2-1 over Seattle and Toronto gets an early goal to take a quick lead over Philadelphia.

The knockout stage is complete with FC Dallas advancing in the West bracket, while Toronto is threatening an upset over the East's top seed Philadelphia with a 2-1 lead in the second half of leg 2.

In the West, we have FC Dallas @ Vancouver in penalty kicks with the winner facing Salt Lake in the West final.
In the East, Sporting KC holds a 3-0 lead over Philly after Leg 1 of the East Final.

Hi all...Hoping to get Scoreboard graphics updated here on New Year's Eve.

But officially Sporting KC wins the East by a 4-2 count over Philadelphia to earn a spot into the MLS Cup.

In the West, Vancouver advances 2-1 on penalty kicks over FC Dallas and faces Real Salt Lake in the West Finals.

Also of note...the MLS Cup will be played in a two-leg format as well.
