PEARL JAM
Not really that long, but I'm glad to see that you got to use your pink highlight.
p.s. you all listen to shitty music except Serbia and gethine.
You do know why I use the pink highlight, don't you?
The album cover on Ten? I'm really not big enough of a fan to answer this question correctly.
"static_ice" just called me an idiot, yet he doesn't even know what decades Pink Floyd was around...80's? lol...Yes, they played in the 80's...most of their post-seventies albums were sub-par though.
And most people classify their music as Progressive/Psychedelic and give them credit for being the first progressive band...nay! That would be King Crimson, a band slightly superior to Pink Floyd yet less known...sadly.
Back to the original point of this thread, I'd say AC/DC as my top choice. Honestly, I like all of the 70's and 80's rock. 90s rock was just a real let down though. But I do enjoy other types of music, like Johnny Cash.

I like a little johnny cash...but not the mainstream crap like...ring of fire...its just so annoying...

ah well... the whole song just doesn't click for me...but in Mercy Seat I like his "story telling" as the "pros" call it...
and the paper and scissors was just a joke... not even original joke
On a side note, I heard that one can be psychologically profiled by the kinds of music one listens to. Anyone else hear about that?
No I haven't heard it, and no I don't believe it. But God only knows what they'd say about me if they tried to do it; probably that I have multiple personalities. I can't be pigeonholed as any one "personality type", seeing as I listen to all kinds of genres.
Pearl Jam Metallica (early days, not their more recent sh1t) Nirvana Duran Duran Beatles Neil Diamond Johnny Logan
Can't remember any others off the top of my head right now
Nirvana, yes.
Early Metallica, yes, up to and including the Black album. But of them all, the song Seek and Destroy is the best.
Duran Duran? Yes, what little I catch on the air.
Beatles? Sorry, I'm a Rollin' Stone guy.
The others I not nothing about, but I'm not opposed to the idea.

Ok, I'll hand you over to my good friend Hunter Clark. I have no idea what he'll do, and frankly, I don't want to. But it might involve fish hooks, sandpaper, a car and jumper cables, some borrowed wielding equipment and low-grade acids. May God have mercy on your soul, because Mr. Sadist will not have any on your body. Have a nice day.
