We are looking for 36 players to play on Age of Realms 3 (Mayhem) with foggy no-spoiles, chained and polymophic settings. Players are selected at random into groups of 6. A point scored for each win. Each player will play against each other player with a polymorphic setting of 3. The highest 3 players will then play three games with a polymorphic setting of 2. This sequence is then repeated for the 6 winners of the six groups. 3-way ties are sorted by the best of 3 games with a polymorphic setting of 2. 2-way ties are sorted by the best of 3 games with a polymorphic setting of 3. There will be five games per round, so only Premium players can join.
Are you changing the Rules of the Tournament?
The way I understood the rules is that the best 3 in each group will play Poly(2), but it seems you have by-passed the best 3 and instead have only allowed best 1 from each group to proceed. Bad form to change stated rules after tournament has started, especially for those players who had made the Top 3 in their group, but now are being told they are eliminated.

Yeah, I'm curious, too.

There was no carry over of points from the first round. Once ties were sorted out to determine the top three in each group, they played off to get the finalist to move on to the final six; repeating that sequence.
Sorry if it seemed confusing but the rules did not include nor mention carryover.
The final six are now decided and the games are out.
