Bad thing was, their guides were the first to be killed. And it was a fairly large party, with only about 7 or so people left by the time they were able to get out of that area.

Why the guides? They could of helped them. What idiots.

No, I have read in several places (and seen it on the history channel) that they killed their guides first (panicked I guess), then they waited for others to die.

I have pact with a buddy of mine that if either one of us ever gets the opportunity to munch on some human, we have to call the other so we can do it together. I bet human tastes great!! Smear some A1 on there and you're golden!
