UPDATE - WC 2010 - South Africa

I appologise for the slow movement of the tournament! I have no access to normal internet constantly so my tournaments must suffer because of that. As we have several freemium members and I'm very hectic with the update then I will be slight less strict with giving out cards.

I'll start week 2 games now and send them out soon.

Just an FYI to Marval for the score tables - Costa Rica in group E was not awarded its point for its week 1 tie. Thanks.

Thats right, SR415. In the new update it will be on the Table. Not only the points for you, but also for the other footballteams in the same position as you and the ones for this week.

Last 2 reminders for week 2 sent. If they won't join their games soon then I will remove them from tournament. If they don't wish to keep competing for the premium prize then I can't force them :lol:

I totally agree.

Such a shame for the progress of this tournament, that they won't join or won't let us know why they don't join :-(

But the show must go on :-)

scottie (Group B) and kendoh99 (Group G) has been kicked out because of deadbeating. Everybody who has already played them or will play, will get automatic wins against them.

There is one game in Week 2 but both players are premiums and it should be over soon so I'll be starting Group Stage, Week Three today. Wait for a message.

I'm glad to say that we have no deadbeats in this round and now there's nothing new until all games of Group Stage, Week 3 have ended. After that, MarVal will update the scoreboard and we will see who will advance to the best 16 :)

Yep :) And MarVal will update the scoreboard when he finds time. He is quite busy in RL and changes in the Callouts also took his time so I'm sure that he will get to this as soon as possible.

We are ready to move on to Round of 16. As the name of it says, there's 16 of us left and after these games, only 8 of us will keep fighting for the win.

I will send out messages shortly, make sure to join your games because risking with cards right now would be really foolish.

I beat bonobo's son in both games :)

Just looked again at the way this tourney is set up - as the highest ranked player left, does it really mean I have to win every match 2-0, but all my opponents would get through with 1-1?!?!
